"The seat back entertainment screen didn’t work at my seat. Staff was great."

"The plane was hot. my seatbelt was too small; of the 4 planes we were on on this trip, this was the only belt I had a problem with. The in-flight entertainment screen was not responsive so it was stuck on one movie the entire flight. This experience was very much unlike any other Delta experience."

"Airport experience is exhausting. Extremely long lines for check-in and then even longer lines at TSA. Hand sanitizer stations are almost all empty and in the mens room, people are crowding together to get soap from one dispenser that has just a bit left... flight was no better than Southwest Airlines, and it took over an hour for the bags to start coming out. Delta bag claim attendant just said, "I don't know what's going on with them, just wait a bit longer"."

"As with the outbound flight, this return flight was not full - maybe 40-50%. As they started boarding they announced they located a few people the help with 'load a balance' of the aircraft. What they had done was to compress all passengers in the middle of the plane leaving no space between anyone. It is difficult to understand why everyone is required to wear Masks, then relocated to remove all space between passengers, when there was ample room to allow everyone to be seated with space between."

Voordelen: "We flew from Anchorage to Boston via Seattle. If there had not been a delay in Anchorage, the flight would have been excellent. However, there was a mechanical problem earlier in the day with a plane to Cincinnati. Our flight was scheduled to leave Anchorage at 4pm, but Delta decided to take our pane from us and use it as a substitute for the original but nonfunctional Cincinatti plane. A ridiculous decision. The Cincinnati people already had missed all their connections, but now all the Seattle people missed theirs as well. When we finally got to Seattle 3 hours late (just before midnight), the desk agent said that Delta had no hotel rooms for us and also no hotel vouchers. We thus had to find a room and pay for it on our own. The next day, we had been rescheduled to Detroit and then on another flight from there to Boston. The flight to Detroit arrived nearly 30 minutes late, and we just barely made our connection. Had we missed it, we would have had to spend that night in Detroit. Delta did its best to keep the two of us together. On the Seattle-Detroit flight we were on opposite sides of the aisle in the same row, but that was in a row right behind a bulkhead, making it easy for us to walk over to each other. On the Detroit-Boston flight we were next to each other. Both flights were completely full, so Delta must have made some effort to keep us together as well as possible."
Nadelen: "Delta should not have made the dumb decision to take the Seattle-bound plane and use it as a substitute for the malfunctioning Cincinnati plane. Delta should have provided accommodations for the stranded travelers once they arrived in Seattle."

Nadelen: "Had unknown jump grade to much better seats No explanation given Too bad it wasn’t on a 6 hour flight"

Voordelen: "The crew members were nice and didn't bother while sleep when giving out snacks & drinks (I've had this done to me before, annoying). Plane was comfortable because it wasn't packed, so was able to have a seat empty in-between me. The entertainment offered was really good, the connecting to the Go-inflight WiFi was a bit difficult, but no biggie."
Nadelen: "THE DELTA TERMINAL AT HARTSFIELD AIRPORT, ATLANTA, IS DIS-ORGANIZED!!!! THERE WAS NO ONE GIVING PROPER INSTRUCTIONS FOR DROPPING BAGS OFF, PEOPLE WERE EVERYWHERE IN EVERY KIND OF MADE LINE!!! ALMOST 30 - 40 MINUTES OF WASTED TIME, THIS AND THE SLOWEST TSA PROCESS CAUSED MANY TO PROBABLY MISS THEIR FLIGHTS, INCLUDING ME (THANKFULLY MY FLIGHT WOUND UP BEING 3HS DELAYED - THAT'S NEXT). DELTA SHOULD INFORM TRAVELERS ABOUT TIMES WITH THEIR BAG DROP AND TSA!!! 3HRS TO GET A SMALL PART THAT ONLY TAKES 2 MINUTES TO FIX, I'M VERY GRATEFUL IT WAS FOUND WHILE ON THE GROUND, BUT AFTER 1 AND HALS HOURS COULDN'T WE HAVE JUST CHANGED PLANES!?!?! I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HOME AFTER 10A, WASN'T UNTIL ALMOST 2P.."

Nadelen: "Flight into Seattle delayed, flight out of Seattle to Minneapolis delayed flights out of Minneapolis to Bismarck delayed. Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

Nadelen: "The attendants on the Detroit to Seattle flight suggested I go talk to the gate agent to get my seat corrected. They said the flight was not full. So I did. To be greeted again by the mean agent you told me to take my rear and get it on the plane that the attendants didn’t know anything"

Nadelen: "Le vol a été dérouté sur Lyon pour des vents dangereux. Seul hic, l’ensemble des autres vols atterrissants à Genève on tous pu atterrir dans la même tranche horaire. Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "The boarding process was confusing. Once boarding began, there was no attention paid to distancing guidelines. I heard the crew make announcements about mask requirements but never saw anyone being directly reprimanded or corrected for not wearing a mask or not covering their nose while boarding or walking around the cabin. Even though I only counted fewer than 20 passengers for over 100 seats, upon boarding, three solo passengers were assigned to sit in adjacent seats, with me in the row directly in front of them and another passenger in the row directly behind them. There was no precaution to space out passengers whatsoever. I had tried to choose my seating during check in but the online app was difficult to understand what seats were actually open or taken. Once I boarded it was clear the online information was incorrect. With so few passengers, the gate crew could easily have taken the time to review seating and re-seated customers for improved health and safety. This was my first time flying during COVID and I had thought airlines were doing more to instill trust in customers to keep customers flying but I will not be flying again until COVID is over as I did not see precautions keeping customers safe."

Que du stress! Nous étions en état de choc, ils ont annulé notre billet à l’instant: l’aller et le retour!). Ce n’était pas du tout normal. Nous allons faire un recours, c’est inadmissible. Jamais plus avec British Airways."

Nadelen: "Our baggage was delayed coming off the plane in Seattle and getting to the carousel. When we were finally able to claim our baggage in customs, the gate said it was too late to re-check them through to Seattle, so they had to re-book us for a later flight. So after 13 hours of travel (with a toddler, which makes everything harder), we had to wait an unexpected 3 hours at Seatac to board a plane home. It was terrible. The BA representative at the baggage claim was incredibly dismissive and rude to everyone. It really was miserable."

Nadelen: "If you want to reserve your airline seat (I'm talking a standard economy seat) you have to pay $34 per seat if it's 24 hours or more before your flight. Guess what happens at 24 hours? The airport takes over and you're stuck in the middle of a crowded 10.5 hour flight all because you weren't able to select your seat ahead of time. Just another money grab from a tanking airline."

Voordelen: "The cabin crew were excellent. The food service was very good. Entertainment choices were abundant and generally good."
Nadelen: "Reaching our connecting flight. The Bataan death march comes to mind—concourse 3 to 5, oh my! Having got through all the hurdles including incomprehensible up, down, up again down again escalator rides and security pat down for my wife we got to Concourse 5 where we learned our plane was leaving from C gates, but not which C gate. So we looked for directions to C gates. The only signage was for C gates 52 to 57. Common sense would lead one to believe that C gates 1 to 51 existed somewhere in the terminal; but no they do not and not many people are aware that they don’t. There has to be a better way. Perhaps before Brexit becomes a reality you could lean on Germany’s vaunted efficiency to help clean up this nightmare scenario."

Nadelen: "Ridiculous last-minute gate change with no notice in Frankfurt forced us to go through security twice and throw away our refreshment purchases. US Customs and Passport Control at Seatac was disorganized and downright surly. My spouse and I were separated on the flight and there is no room for adult bodies to sit with so many seats across without being pressed uncomfortably into strangers for nine hours. It is nearly impossible to sleep under such inhuman conditions. Shame on British Airways for putting profit over service and comfort."

"Boarded late. Missed first landing attempt, landed almost an hour late and missed connecting flight."

Voordelen: "The prices were low and the crew was great. A lot of entertainment options, also!"

Nadelen: "I missed boarding by one minute and was told there was nothing they could do. Our connecting flight landed on the other side of the airport and after literally running through DFW, we were told our flight home had already boarded, we arrived at 6:21, flight left at 6:30. American Airlines screwed us again. Just paid $300 for a rental vehicle so I could make it home."

Voordelen: "Nicole and I really like the Economy Plus seating with the extra legroom. It is a good compromise between sitting in cramped Economy seating and spending way too much money in Business Class."
Nadelen: "I wish that the Seattle Tacoma Airport has an Admiral's Club Lounge. Actually, I might as well fess up... I wish that EVERY airport had an Admiral's Club Lounge. I also wish it would be possible to "gift" miles to family members. I would love to have my son and daughter-in-law take advantage of my miles to go on a honeymoon."

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, good food and entertainment."
Nadelen: "Seat comfort and space aboard."

Nadelen: "Prior to boarding, a gate attendant talked to the passengers in a VERY condescending way with regard to their carry on luggage. The original plane had mechanical problems, identified after half the passengers had already boarded. It was stressful enough without this person raising her voice and talking to us as though we were children."

Nadelen: "Bigger seats"

Nadelen: "The flight comfort was very bad. The plane was extremely warm and people we beginning to feel bad. Several mentioned it and asked multiple times to have the the cabin air conditioning turned down"

Voordelen: "The entertainment was good with WiFi that worked well"
Nadelen: "The flight delay was a hassle especially considering the estimated arrival was almost 1am. No information was provided as to why it was almost an hour late but it made for a super late night. Not to mention the seat was unbearably cramped making for an impossible inflight rest... wait, I just mentioned it"

Voordelen: "Nothing. I missed this flight because of a delay of my flight on Friday."

Nadelen: "Everything"

Nadelen: "Delayed taking off by 35 mins because of onload slowness and issues. Resulted in landing late in seattle and missed the last transportation option home for the night. Should have had 1.5 hours to make my shuttle. Instead got stuck in my destination airport for the night."

Nadelen: "The service, and the smile on employee’s faces. Rolling their eyes at people because we want to know why we’re being delayed is disrespectful"

Voordelen: "nothing since i was not able to make it on time"
Nadelen: "Flight between fort myers and charlotte was stuck on the tarmac for more than 1h. I missed my connexion and was rebooked next day at 11am. I missed one full day of work. Next time, the flight could wait 15 o 20mn to allow passengers to reach the gate"

Voordelen: "Juste la rapidité du vol.les pilotes étaientt très bien autour du vol..."
Nadelen: "Le vol a accusé un retard de une heure et en plus on n'a changé du lieu d'embarquement qui est passé du 77 au 75.il fallait que chaque voyageur se renseigne."

Voordelen: "Service was wonderful and flight pretty much smooth for the 6;5 hour ride back to Seattle. I do enjoy taking American Airlines."
Nadelen: "Had a 350 pound gentleman in the seat in front of me and had he had no idea of how stressed I was when he would try to adjust his to go back further."

Nadelen: "There are 9 boarding groups some of which have no one in them. I don't understand why. Seats don't have screens for entertainment so you have to use your own device to. Make sure you have extra batteries since there is no power to charge on board."

Voordelen: "Nothing, this was a miserable flight."
Nadelen: "Gate at Philadelphia was tiny with not enough space for everyone on the plane, it was a 6 hour flight and no snacks beyond pretzels were available-not even for purchase. I'd just come off an 8 hour international flight where I was provided lunch, ice cream, a pot pie snack and frequent beverage service. Somehow as soon as you are flying domestic on a slightly shorter flight American Airlines thinks its okay to treat customers like garbage-nothing but some sad pretzels and 2 rounds of drink service was provided for a 6 hour flight. The seats were super uncomfortable with no head rest, no personal entertainment devices were provided, and there was no general entertainment for the whole plane-seriously I've never been so bored. I would have fallen asleep from boredom but the seat was too uncomfortable so I couldn't even do that. The plane landed in Seattle but sat without unloading passengers for 20 minutes because the gate crew wasn't ready. We didn't get our checked baggage for over an hour after landing. When asked, customer service reps said that the S gate was far from baggage claim-seriously I'm not sure how that is a reasonable excuse. Other airlines arrive into S gates and have timely baggage claim service. American Airlines has no standard for timely baggage claim service like other airlines (Alaska) so there were no repercussions for such late baggage service. We left the airport with our luggage over 90 minutes after the plane landed. The entire experience is just another example of American Airlines of why the terrorists won't even fly American Airlines. I was seriously disappointed to find out that the British Airways flights we booked were operated by American instead of BA crews. I seriously will never select this option (or fly American) again if I can help it."

Nadelen: "There weren’t any USB chargers which was confusing because the flight was 5+ hours long. There were no media options either, or blankets and the plane got cold."

Nadelen: "Flight across the US had poor quality meal service, no charging port and no entertainment. Despite paying for an exit seat with more leg room the seat was very narrow and uncomfortable for the long flight."

Nadelen: "notre vol a été retarde retarde!!au lieu de décoller comme prévu à 8h30 notre vol a été finalement annulé vers 23h30. On m'a relooké sur un vol pour LONDRES le lendemain à 19.h. Nous sommes restés plus de 24 h dans cet aéroport sans que nous soit proposé un hôtel. on nous a donné une couverture et un oreillé!!d'autre ont pu etre rebooké sur d'autre vols sur NY ou chicago le matin meme. Nous avons perdu une journée de travail mon époux et moi-meme. Lui a du annuler une formation impliquant 10 personnes qui venait de toute la France."

Voordelen: "Seats in general Economy ended up being fairly comfortable and headrests would bend enough to actually support my head while sleeping. Nice to have granual baggage tracking info in the AA app."
Nadelen: "Overhead entertainment video quality was horrible. Awful user interface for trying to figure out and use the personal device streaming entertainment. Did not order food on the flight, but options were very limited for a 5.5 hour night-time flight (8p EST -> 11p PST)"

Nadelen: "Crew told us bulshit story about strong winds, even though flight times were normal. Diverted the flight to DFW, where we stayed for almost 2 hours fo refueling."

Voordelen: "Only good thing about the flight is the price."
Nadelen: "I do not like the two hour delay, after a hour maybe consider getting another plane."
