Nadelen: "2 hour delay due to a morning delay at Barcelona, although that seemed odd. The delay was known early that morning. Flight from Barcelona to Zurich doesn't take long. Seems they could have rerouted, or at least sent an email or some notification. Also, the boarding staff at Zurich is rude and random about whom they let onboard with larger luggage or not. They held some people but not others. Middle seats have metal polls, making legroom awkward."

I woke up just as the crew had passed my row for breakfast and then couldn't get the attention of the lady to serve me breakfast. A vegan option for the menu would be excellent. The leg room on the plane was also very reduced for an 11 hour flight. I wish I would have been offered to pay an additional amount and upgrade to the business class. This option was never offered to me at check-in."

Nadelen: "In Zurich if you travel to US or Canada, they have just before the gates some security check that ONLY verifies the passport. It seemed weird to me. Why are they not excluding transferring passengers from this nightmare. Because it is a nightmare. Long and disorganized lines where travelers, that have diverse leaving times, are trying to enter 4 check points that work slow and nobody manages all that mess. On the plane, absolute unnecessarily (they had extra unoccupied seats) they took one of our carry-on-s with the check in luggage. The seats are extremely tight and offer a very small place for the economy class. Nothing special about the food."

Nadelen: "Staff was extremely rude, no internet access, the tv and remote are old and very poorly kept. If you don't arrange your dishes after you eat to the staff's liking --- you will get one of the worst attitudes possible which is just unacceptable. Unfortunately this attitude transfers to the airport staff in Zurich so I was not too shocked on the plane. However, they should learn a thing or two from the Lufthansa employees. They are a long way from being professional."

Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Nadelen: "That we had to sleep like homeless people on the floor of JFK airport as the airline was not able to provide for a crew and therefore cancelled the flight. The airline cancelled the flight at 1.30 in the morning so no one was able to get a stay in a hotel not did the airline take any action towards helping the stranded passengers. We were given blankets and pillows. The best thing was the ground staff getting rude after all passengers complaining. They were basically saying we should get stuffed since we were booked for a flight next day same day. This is shameful! Needless to say that I will not fly this airline again!"

Nadelen: "Retard de l'avion ( 3-4 vols différents). Perte de mes bagages qui à entraîner un déplacement pour rien à l'étranger pour le travail vu que je n'avais pas le matériel de travail avec moi. Nous faire monter dans l'avion, rouler sur le tarmac, après 30 min de prise de retard sur le départ, nous annoncer qu'on retourner à l'aéroport et qu'il fallait changer d'avion pour problèmes techniques. Pour nous annuler complètement Le vol! Nous faire descendre de l'avion, devoir aller se trouver un autre vol, aller recuperer la valise, retourner l'enregistrer, et retourner à la sécurité tous ça avec une amabilité digne de la froideur allemande! Auncuns repas ou autre bois a été offert au moin pour s'excuser. Après avoir eu tous ces problèmes avec la même compagnie j'ai contacter à plusieurs reprises le service client qui m'a raccrocher au nez! On m'a dit qu'on me remboursait Le vol. Je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles."

Medical problem on board caused delays and me having to change seats at the end to where the sick woman used to sit - smelled of vomit, gross. 3 crying bwbies for 12 hours. Seats too narrow, room in front too small with table pulled out. LH always good but not this time."

They rushed the final food service with less than 1hour left to LAX and had to eat very quickly before descent and had little/no time to fill out customs cards. In seat entertainment TV worked very poorly - very slow response to pressing buttons and very slow load of content."

Nadelen: "We were given seats directly behind their Premium Economy or whatever they called it on the return flight. We had purchased an upgrade. I have evidence of cc charges. While our seats (located directly behind the Plus section) gave us extra leg room (I don't know why) we did not have the wider seats, food service style and menu as given to those directly in front of us. There was actuallly a barrier between them and us which hit me in the head every time I stood up! On a long flight from Munich to LAX we felt and were cheated."

I'm not enjoying to still wait to find out if I have a flight to get back to the States on Monday because my flight was cancelled. I'm really annoyed to get this survey since Lufthansa should know there was NO flight to LA today!!!"

Il me semble totalement illogique de me faire dire qu'il n'y a plus de place pour moi dans l'avion alors que j'ai le billet en main et qu'il a été payé. Comment une compagnie peut-elle accepter mon paiement alors qu'elle n'est pas en mesure de garantir le service pour lequel elle a été payée? Selon cette philosophie, il faudrait peut-être payer nos billets d'avion une fois RENDUS à destination? Beaucoup de stress inutile et une mauvaise opinion de la compagnie aérienne..."

Voordelen: "The crew did their best to help several people whose seat requests were not honored including a woman traveling with a dog who was given an aisle instead of a window seat. Crew came around with water and juice frequently."
Nadelen: "Seat assignments were not honored. My husband and I were seated in two different rows even though we requested to sit together in an aisle and window seat and checked in the day before the flight This happened on all four legs of a trip to South Africa. Extremely narrow seats and little leg room. Felt like a cattle car. An aggressive woman with disruptive, screaming children was allowed to Torture passengers for a good five hours of the flight before the bursar finally moved her. This was after several hours of complaints from other passengers. She was eventually moved twice due to passenger complaints. The situation should have been handled after the first complaints which occurred two hours into the flight before the situation completely detiorated Food was terrible and meals ran out."

Nadelen: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Ensuite reacheminement en bus ou taxi pour les plus chanceux. Sans qu’on nous donne le moindre repas. Pourtant atterrissage prévu initialement vers 11h. La il est 14h10 passé et le ventre vide et toujours sur la route entre Lyon et Genève."

Nadelen: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

Nadelen: "Flight way delayed 3 hours. Staff gave no information and wouldn't help rebook us onto other flights. They gave us food vouchers 2 minutes before we finally boarded, so we couldn't use them. The food on the plane had spoiled so we were all starving on the flight, and we all missed our connections. Horrible experience and wouldn't fly with KLM again."

Nadelen: "Too late i missed my connection flight"

Voordelen: "Loved the service...everything was excellent"
Nadelen: "The bus class seat was a bit narrow at the feet"

Voordelen: "Of the multiple international airlines I recently flew with, I would have to say KLM was by far the best. Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Voordelen: "It was so easy to board and I had no inconvenience. It took 4 minutes from when I said goodbye to my family till when I was at the front of the gate."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Nadelen: "I was asked by KLM to ask Aeroflot if my baggages were on the plane to LA at Moscow, because I had 10 hours. However, Aeroflot security didn't listen to me and kept saying I'm okay( I guess she wanted to say I was a right gate) and didn't let me talk to groundhostes, and kept screeming to others to show her their boading pass. I could get to talk groundhostes right when I get in the flight, not sure my baggage were with me. My suitcase was damagged at both flights on the way and back. And had to wait for two hours to receive the form, and to claim it, you have to submit so many documents and takes tim e. I am waiting for it."

Voordelen: "This was a cheap flight from LAX to ZRH with a layover in Moscow and that's about as good as it gets."
Nadelen: "The check in personnel was not that helpful and were very slow to check in everyone to their corresponding flights, and since kiosks were not available for aeroflot the experience was unavoidable. The plane economy class is really as uncomfortable as it gets for a transatlantic flight. There were no beer options for the flight (nor vodka which is weird), and flight attendants weren't that happy to talk to you in English. 5 hours wait at Moscow are the worst, if you're thinking on saving some dollars on a transatlantic flight this is not worth it."

Voordelen: "Great movie selection, great staff, great food"
Nadelen: "There was not a full bar selection for drinks - most international flights have a wide array of drink selections. Aeroflot only offered one red or one white wine and only came around once"

Voordelen: "The leg room! And the meals were delicious"
Nadelen: "Boarding was slow and unorganized. At times VERY warm"

Nadelen: "The flight was delayed 15 minutes. Then we boarded the aircraft and spent two hours inside, just sweating. Someone came and said it would take another 15 minutes to check the aircraft again. We were sent back to the airport with no information and nobody knew what was happening. We finally boarded the flight 5 hours late, and we lost our connection to Hong Kong. Nobody cares to explain or give you a solution. When we arrived to Moscow they said that we had to spent the night at the airport because their hotel was full. We verified at the hotel and they offered us rooms if we wanted to pay for them. The airline employees offered no help and we spent at least 5 hours looking for a solution. We decided to enter Russia and found out that the airline had another hotel in which we spent the night after finding the answer ourselves, because nobody explained anything to us. We wouldn't recommend this airline to anyone. They had passengers sleeping in the floor of the airport with little kids because they didnt offer them a room. They simply dont care about their customers."

Voordelen: "I like the service, flight attendants were very nice, food was great, the seats were comfortable and had plenty of leg room"

Nadelen: "Three delayed flights and all we were given were food coupons. We missed a whole day due to flight delays. With our connecting flight from Moscow to Madrid, they were so late that they started moving with not everyone in heir seat. Seemed unsafe but I can tell they were in a rush since they were so far behind schedule."

Nadelen: "The food was terrible. Also I'm vegetarian and there was never an option to select a special meal. The food was very Russian which is very different than any other food from other countries. The flavor combinations were not appealing. For a 13 hour flight, I was hungry when I got home."

Voordelen: "respectful flight attendants"
Nadelen: "meal trays slide over the tray tables. Need to be custom designed to fit better."

Voordelen: "price. service."

Voordelen: "They had a handful of good movies available to make an eleven hour flight suck less. Boarding was exactly as lengthy and tedious as it is on any airline."
Nadelen: "The staff looked at us like they has bugs up their noses, but so did every Russian in Moscow. It's like being American is offensive to them. The ten hour layover was excruciating--we slept on the floors, while they advertised their completely booked in-airport hotels every thirty minutes on the intercom. The airplane was so hot I literally poured cups of water over myself every couple hours to keep my clothes damp and my body at a reasonable temperature. The food was pretty terrible."

Voordelen: "All the food and drinks available on the whole trip. The service was very professional."
Nadelen: "none"

Voordelen: "Same as before, very happy and pleased and enjoyment exceeded expectations. I highly recommended Aeroflot to all of my followers online!!!"

And then when calling to board the call once and then did the last call for boarding immediately after. Making all people to run to board the plane and laugh about the people worrying about not been able to make it!"

Voordelen: "Friendly staff. Organized. Spoke English. Helpful. Performed security checks when needed."
Nadelen: "The magazine holder on the back of the seat was old and fell backwards hitting my knee the entire flight. If they can improve those chair back pockets to stay up or snap up so then don't hang back and take up leg space that would be nice."

Voordelen: "The food was good. The crew was very good. I slept comfortably thanks to the sleep mask and blanket."
Nadelen: "My screen was out of commission for the first half of the flight."

Voordelen: "Good"

Voordelen: "The seats were comfortable and had generous leg room."
Nadelen: "There was no overhead supplemental air. The plane was hot. The food was terrible. Salad- some wilted lettuce, a tomato, small slice meat and only mayonnaise for dressing. The small bread was inedible. The stench coming for the toilet was very bad and the flight crew frequently sprayed it with something(that did not work) I was 4 rows away and had trouble with the stench. I will not fly with Aeroflot again."

Voordelen: "The service was great and the flight attendants were very efficient and nice. Wish I could afford to upgrade to business as the seats in the economy section are really tight and I only weigh 125lbs. It was on schedule and generally a good experience. Thank You, Elizabeth"

Nadelen: "I did not like how I was not able to check in early. There wasn't that 24hr check-in email"

Voordelen: "Crew was courteous. Flight was long but entertainment was good. An okay flight."
Nadelen: "Not much to be said about going beyond what is necessary. I myself am a simple traveler who does not need much in special accommodations. But, I often felt I received the bare minimum of customer service. Not good, but not bad either."

Voordelen: "The food was excellent. Nice to have eye cover, slippers, pillow and blanket on your seat as you boarded."
Nadelen: "No real organization boarding in Moscow. The crew spoke no English and the flight was out of LAX none of them looked happy to be working. Seats really tight considering the length of the flight."

Voordelen: "It's ok for the price not as bad as spirit"
Nadelen: "The food is not good You can't buy drinks or food if u get hungry The service is subpar"

Voordelen: "The stewardess was able to swap my meal to Asian since I didn't eat meat but forgot to request it. The plane was clean and movies were good. Free wifi in moscows airport was nice."
Nadelen: "The nine hour layover in Moscow was horribly long, when there is no where to and rest at 3am other than an upright chair or concrete floor. There were so many announcements that it was also difficult to rest there even with earplugs. The gentleman next to me was 6'5" and not small and took up a quarter of my space, making it quite uncomfortable after an exhausting layover."
