Nadelen: "Everything. I paid a lot of money for this ticket. When I tried to check in yesterday I was denied. When I called the ticketing office, they explained that everything was fine with the ticket, and I would indeed have a seat, but I would have to go to the airport. I even asked them about the possibility of overbooking but they said that wasn't a risk. (I am Star Gold so I didn't think that was possible.) When at the airport they wouldn't give me a seat and they bumped me leading to many hours of confusion, a connection through Tanzania, and a loss of a night of sleep. And lots of stress. I know they de-prioritized the people who booked on Kayak. This was a miserable experience and unless you do something to fix this I will never use Kayak again."

I was flying as a tourist from Switzerland, but it was easy to notice the condescending manner in which the African passengers were treated. I noticed the same attitude at immigration services in Frankfurt, were the officers were openly teasing, laughing at and harassing an Eritrean man. Some of the comments passed were frankly disgusting..."

Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Other airlines have noticed and helped regarding this. *Some* crew members were abrupt and perfunctory when they could have been pleasant. Nothing special was being demanded of them. Automated check in luggage machines are frustrating to use for many. many passengers."

Nadelen: "Everything, the flight was delayed, the plane too small for passengers to store their carry-on luggage, the ground staff did not upload all the luggage and left some behind in Nairobi on the tarmac, the crew lied about the luggage being uploaded. Terrible experience! Kenya Airways is becoming worst and worst."

Voordelen: "The crew and the food were great!"
Nadelen: "The seats weren’t very comfortable. You could tell the plane was a little dated. There was no WiFi and nowhere to charge your devices."

Voordelen: "The seat was very comfortable."
Nadelen: "My boyfriend and I were required to gate check our carry-on luggage which required us to go through customs in Paris to get to our bag and re-enter security for our connecting international flight. I am unsure why this was the case as other passengers brought the same size luggage. Very upsetting."

Nadelen: "This was one of the worst flights I’ve been on. Both planes were downright filthy. The flight from Dallas to Barcelona had several broken toilets. Flight from Paris to Barcelona boarded and once everyone was on board, they told us that we would be sitting there for 2 hours before leaving."

Voordelen: "The food selection and drinks, given our coach class, were excellent. Nice attention to the passengers."

Nadelen: "Train your ground crew. Our luggage was not placed on our flight from Paris to Amsterdam and were sent to Amsterdam on separate planes. My husband’s medication was in his bag. This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Voordelen: "Crew was really good, polite, efficient. The aircraft was relatively new and clean (rare for an airline to provide a new craft on an Africa segment). Food was good, seats comfortable. Will definitely make them my airline of choice to the extent that I can cost wise."

Nadelen: "It's awfull to sleep. Very unconfortable."

Nadelen: "The food was awful and the option I wanted had run out. The entertainment was faulty and had to be reset several times. The comfort was below standard and needs to be improved."

Voordelen: "Flight attendant Ms. Sophie Picard made every extra effort to try to find a meal when they had run out of Business Class meals. She made up for the uncomfortable seating in Business Class."
Nadelen: "Business class seating on the AirBus 318 is very cramped."

Voordelen: "Friendly crew, good meal and entertainment"
Nadelen: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Voordelen: "25 min ahead schedule!!!"
Nadelen: "Cabin space, too narrow rows."

Voordelen: "Food has improved a lot on business class. Meals are more creative."
Nadelen: "Water bottles not given out unless ou ask for it. Crew needs to better trained with how to handle business class..."

Voordelen: "Very good male crew member. Pilot genuinely apologetic for the delay."
Nadelen: "After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

Voordelen: "Boarding was on time"
Nadelen: "flight was delayed by 20 minutes Boarding got me through Sky priority quickly. Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Voordelen: "Average"
Nadelen: "I leave my jacket in the hanger when I get off the airplane I realized that they didn’t gave it to me. I inmeadiatly tey to go back but I couldn’t I went to the counter and they said that there was noting on the plane !"

Voordelen: "Flight attendant was very nice."
Nadelen: "We got socked with 40 Euro fees for our carry on plus personal item being 2 lbs over. The biggest problem is they were picking and choosing which bags they weighed. 10 people behind us and before us got in without incident. Plane wasn’t even half full so they were deliberately trying to make more $."

Nadelen: "The company simply lets passengers board a fulled booked flight with far too much luggage. Result, take off 20 minutes late because there was not enough room for luggage in the overhead compartments. I was flying with just a small backpack that went under the seat"

Nadelen: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Nadelen: "For taller people flying economy sucks . The seats are always to small"

Voordelen: "Punctual, not crowded."
Nadelen: "Even though the plane was far from full, passengers were allowed only 1 carry-on item (no personal item), contrary to policy published online by Air France. This policy applied even to people with Economy Premium for the rest of the trip (which allows 2 carry-on suitcases, not a useful feature if one cannot begin with this number to reach the transoceanic flight)."

Voordelen: "This is what happens when you get roped in by a low price."
Nadelen: "Disorganization which led to not being able to pre-purchase baggage. Then bad info at airport which led to multiple trips through security trying to make weight on a bag that should have been checked but was told didn't need to. Ended up missing flight, having to rebook at full fare and no one knows where the bag that was checked is. STAY AWAY!"

Voordelen: "Punctueel"
Nadelen: "Geen ontbijt of iets dergelijks, dit ondanks vroege vlucht."

Nadelen: "Long delay during connection at CDG Unclear information about delay Repeated changes to boarding time Unable to take stroller during connection Had to go through security again at CDG, although same terminal (2E)"

Voordelen: "Friendly people on board"
Nadelen: "Crew was not very responsive. It would take over 45 minutes for them to respond to a customer call. Plane landed and we were kept on runway for 1.15 hours and crew only checked in with us twice during that time. People were panicking regarding missing their connections"

Voordelen: "Not much."
Nadelen: "It was one problem after another during check in. And it was difficult to find help in English so I couldn't really tell what was going on. In the end I was tucking to get checked in because they were insisting I use a kiosk but I was telling them that the kiosk said to see an attendee. It was not efficient and I felt like a burden asking for help when there was nothing else I could do on my own."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Everything. AF changed seats without authorization or notification, separating a mother from her 3 year old daughter. Their entire attitude was "nothing to be done, now board plane and leave" no compensation was offered, nothing done to remedy their mistake or rude behavior and treatment"

Voordelen: "Amazing service, seat and FOOD"
Nadelen: "Nothing"

Voordelen: "Crew was wonderful Helpful, pleasant, capable"

Voordelen: "I like that they still feed you and provide alcohol for free, even on a 40 min flight (unlike BA)."
Nadelen: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Voordelen: "Ticket price"
Nadelen: "Long check in wait in Dubai. Food was shocking - inedible!"

Voordelen: "Seat had power supply. Also had own screen"
Nadelen: "Social distancing. Food. Movies. Toilette cleanness. Availability of hygiene products onboard."

Voordelen: "We left on time, flight was smooth!"
Nadelen: "No problems, everything was fine."

Nadelen: "Everything was ok and no delays"

Voordelen: "Crew were nice, hygiene"
Nadelen: "We should have alcohol."

Nadelen: "Food wasn’t that good and there could have been better entertainment options (more movies, TV shows). Internet was terrible."

Voordelen: "I liked the new airplane. Compared to my jfk-cai flight the plane was spotless and everything worked. I didn’t feel like I was on a flying greyhound bus. The crew kept the bathrooms cleaner which was great."
Nadelen: "I was very disappointed that I couldn’t bring water through the gate security in Cairo to jfk. There was nowhere to purchase water after the gate so I felt dehydrated and inconvenienced by having to ask for water so many times."

Nadelen: "Old plane - entertainment system did not have too many movies. Food was just okay"

Voordelen: "The crew team was amazing and the sits were comfortable, landing matters a lot to me and it was perfectly done."

Voordelen: "The plane was new. The bathroom on board was the best one I have seen on a plane. The seats were roomy and the entire team was kind."

Voordelen: "The crew and flight was one of the best ever. Seat was comfortable. Flight attendants went above and beyond!"
Nadelen: "Flight was delayed nearly an hour with no announcements as to what was happening or why!"

Nadelen: "Poor in-flight service. They said they would give out a snack before landing but never did. If you want a drink other than at meals, you have to go get it yourself."

Nadelen: "Lagos Cairo flight is very poor and old plane, and we had 2hours delay Cairo Dubai better plane but due to the delay initially another delay in Cairo"

Voordelen: "Nice experience with EgyptAir. The desk people and crew were so friendly except for one flight attendant (a lady) in the plane."

Aux 2/3 du vol, nous avons eu l’Impression d’être dans un sauna. Atroce ! Alors que d’habitude j’ai toujours froid !"

Nadelen: "The aeroplanes and Cairo airport are a bit outdated, compared to other airlines"

Voordelen: "They were on time Greeting was nice Food OK (breakfast)"
Nadelen: "The time it took from the car to the airplane took more than 1 hour and 30 min. Totally unorganized check points with no crowed control or whatever. I think if they want more tourist in the future they have to work on that!"

Nadelen: "Buy it From you by price and checkout by other price more than your price don’t know why are you know that"

Voordelen: "Entertainment selection was decent, I was especially impressed by the very wide variety of music to listen to. The crew were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The plane was clean and presentable, especially the lavatories. The seats were comfortable and the blankets provided worked well too."
Nadelen: "Food was bland and the chicken dish was dry and difficult to chew. Movie selection on the entertainment system was mediocre, with limited variety of films in general and especially limited variety in languages other than English and Arabic. A problem which I encountered on board was a big gap between the ventilation panel at the base of the wall and the flooring, through which the dessert of my meal fell and which presented the risk of losing further items. I hope this is fixed promptly."

Voordelen: "The Egypt Air personnel were all outstanding. From Check-In through-out the flight, they were pleasant and helpful and professional."

Voordelen: "Flight wasn't packed. Reasonable room for carryons. Seat next to me was open, though most seats were full."
Nadelen: "There was a late gate change in Cairo, which was not communicated to the new gate personnel. They were not ready to receive, there was no female screener which required a delay for the ladies to enter the gate area, and the plane was late leaving. Not a crisis, but was entirely avoidable. Also, I suggest avoiding long layovers in the Cairo airport. There are few chairs outside the eating areas."

Nadelen: "Great services and very clean air plane"

Nadelen: "For this trip, there were no individual screens. All customers had to watch the same movies for a 5 hour trip."

Voordelen: "smooth flight"
Nadelen: "Flight was supposed to leave at 11 pm, did not start boarding until 11 pm and gave no announcements and information. Sign said on time the whole time."

Nadelen: "Check in employee playing games on his phone instead of talking to me"
