2 eme vol avec delta et 2eme incident avec les écrans. Repas vraiment mauvais. Carottes impossible à manger car dures et blanc de poulet entier impossible de couper ! Obligée de manger à la main sans parler d’un surplus de poivre. Sinon personnel très sympathique.

premier vol avec virgin atlantic , très satisfaite, personnels au sol et en vol très agréables. Check in en ligne 24h à l'avance facile et efficace, Procédure d'embarquement facile à l'aeroport de Los Angeles, une très bonne surprise pour un rapport qualité -prix excellent.

Empêché de prendre le vol car connexion avec jet blue (vol intérieur) annulée. Pas de possibilité de remboursement Les compagnies us se rejettent la faute… On est bien aux us.

The Airbus A330 used on this leg needs to be refurbished. The seats are all damaged, the in-seat power did not work (both 110v outlets and USB outlets) - the IFE screen looked like it was about 10 years old and would not stay unfolded, it just kept flopping down. At one point the flight attendant offered to "fetch some tape" to hold it in place for the flight. I felt very bad for her that she had been put in a position where this was even a reasonable suggestion to have to make.

Have traveled with V.A. to Florida for over 15years. Unfortunately post covid or flights were disappointing. We really miss the Jumbo as the new planes are smaller & grotty. We traveled out “first class” - it was anything but first class. There is now a third row of seats and the bar that had been in the first class cabin was gone. They ran out of meal choices- cobbled together a cream tea as they ran short of those too. There were no small bottles on the way out. The only thing pleasant about our outward journey was the staff who were lovely. Our return journey was Premium Economy, it was 100 times worse. The food was disgusting & once again they ran out of meal choices. There were no snacks ( pretzels) with our drinks - this time there was only two pleasant stewardesses the rest were “unfriendly “ bordering on rude!! We used to get a nice bottle of water in the back of our seats - pre covid these bottles had shrunk to half size & now non existent? We were offered a plastic cup of water- which we had to sit between our seats when the lights went out & unseen after several hours - got knocked over!! This never happened with the bottles? To add insult to injury Virgin have switched the Orlando flight to Edinburgh- we flew over Glasgow on the way out & the way back and spoke to several people who were just as unhappy as we were- what was wrong with Glasgow? Honestly Virgin have lost the plot- old aircraft -( on the way home) unpleasant Manchester crew ( what’s wrong with a Scottish crew from Scotland?) Unfortunately in the north of the UK we’re not spoiled for choice the only direct flights being Virgin (now Edinburgh) or as my son advised Tui - who apparently do I very good Premium Economy from Glasgow. Given my recent experience- I feel that my 20 years travelling with Virgin may have come to an end!

Tous les vols fonctionnent maintenant comme les arnaques low cost et c'est dommage. Une valise en soute coute une fortune, un centimetre de siege en plus est un vendu a un tarif de dingue. en prenant un billet sur virgin, géré par Delta, donc une vraie compagnie, nous ne pensions pas que meme demander a etre assis ensemble serait quelque part payant. en effet notre tarif ne nous permettait pas de s'enregistrer avant. donc une fois au guichet plus de sieges ensemble. dans l'avion ? fauteuil ridicule pour tasser plus de passager , comme dans les vols bas de gamme, pas de boisson avant le repas, mais des bouteilles de cristalline que meme les chauffeurs uber ont arreté de donner. Et c'est une canette de coca pour 3 passagers, ben oui on va pas vous filer la cannette quand meme. Pour un vole a 1200 balles c'est vraiment abusé

Accueil scandaleuse pour l’escale courte à Manchester

The quality of the food was terrible and below a normal standard, the entertainment screen kept breaking down, had to keep reminding the staff several times to fix it. The toilets were dirty, the seats were very uncomfortable, I think this is one of the worst flights I have been on and really shocked how Delta is associated with Virgin Airlines, who are of such high standard and a much better flying experience.

Un retard énorme dû aux contrôles à Manchester… Mais l’avion a attendu… c est sympa ! Vol très bien, nourriture infecte… annoncés uniquement en américain, on ne comprend rien. Les stewards devraient apprendre à parler distinctement, d autant si il y avait beaucoup d étrangers à bord…

They booked me on two different trips, then the agents deleted both trips, and then my flight got canceled and they didn’t tell me

Boarded, departed and arrived early. Perfectly comfortable for an economy flight and spare seats allowed us to spread a bit. Decent food and plenty of drinks to keep us going. Excellent in flight entertainment system. Friendly and helpful staff. We were not able to check-in online, so had to do this at the airport, not long before the flight. Assume this was why our family of 4 was not seated together. It is rather frustrating to be sent a link to to check-in and then be denied without any explanation.

I attempted to cancel my flight due to positive covid case 10 days before I flew with chatdeal and kayak and after repeated calls from me and promises I would be called back and the chance of a credit note I heard nothing. No help, no support, no understanding. I lost £1500. Would never use again or recommend.

Places réservées sur kayak avec option grande place . Non respecté. Confort abominable sur le vol retour. Vol de départ annulé cause Covid seulement quelques heures avant le départ. Incertitude pour un vol de replacement, finalement obtenu 12 heures après . Merci kayak: plus jamais chez vous.

Personnel très professionnelle et à l’écoute des besoins des passagers. Repas assez bien, surtout salade fraîche. Proposition de plats aux légumes pourrait améliorer l’expérience pour les personnes qui ne mangent pas de pâtes. Globalement tout s’est très bien passé.

Unfortunately the return flight was very busy and I assume due to COVID precautions and ventilation the aircraft was very cold. Economy is not that bad but when a full row feels very congested and almost like you’re sitting on top of each other. The flight was delayed at short notice and we were also additionally delayed upon landing when they could open the doors. The flight out there by virgin was great however the return flight not so much.

This was a delta economy flight. Staff were nice but everything else pretty rubbish tbh

Instead of looking up policy, we were denied boarding mid-flight, missed a wedding, and had to spend three days in London instead of our destination. Also, we got bug bites during the flight that turned out to be from bed bugs, which followed us home and caused much frustration for months."

Nadelen: "The seats are very uncomfortable on Austrian air. The only way I would fly them again would be if I had extra money for the exit rows with more leg room. Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

Electronic check in did not provide food selection, specially for individuals who suffer some food allergies... Boarding process to be revised taking in consideration last minute matters to be better coordinated."

Nadelen: "Since the plane clearly came from another destination, the cleaning crew at Vienna International Airport could have taken some more time to vacuum the floor and wipe down the surfaces in the passenger cabin of the aircraft."

So coming back into the states and thru customs took waaay longer than it should have with those chaotic and ridiculously long lines. I didn't bring my Global Pass card with me and will from now on!"
Voordelen: "The economy seats had as much leg room as the Premium Economy seats on Luthansa, so the comfort over a long flight was better than I expected."
Nadelen: "The charge for checking a 2nd bag was $100 which I thought was much too high. Food was average and not enough given that we were on the plane for over 10 hours."

Ce qui m'a deplu : les retards aux contrôles ont empêchés certains d'être à bord. Leurs bagages ont été retirés, et au final nous avons loupé notre correspondance FRA-Lyon de 10 mn, sans aucune solution alternative (2 jours de grève après; 16 et 17/09).

Plus d'une de retard à l'arrivée à Bangkok sans explication. Ma valise égarée . Le repas très moyen comme maintenant très souvent en classe éco en devient un détail. La valise égarée est un gros problème et après 24 heures, aucune nouvelle

Voyage de san Francisco vers Honolulu à été mauvais. Petit avion pas de films (tous les écrans étaient en panne), pas de wifi. Il ne nous ont pas compensé, ils auraient pu nous offrir un sandwich ou une boisson gratuite.

Le pilote a été super le service aux clients. Aucune information pour aider les passagers en correspondance. nous avons ratés notre vol vers Paris

Formalités d'embarquement simples. Le staff à bord sympathique. Assis à côté d'un homme a assez forte corpulence qui mettait en évidence la taille réduite des sièges. Le dîner et petit déjeuner pas fameux du tout, le niveau à encore baissé dans ce domaine.

La boufe et l’équipage très cool seulement il fallait payer une petite bouteille de vin à 7 euros

Encore et toujours du retard, nous avons du changer de vol puis d'avion, imprimer de nouveaux billets et n'avons connu nos places qu'au moment d'embarquer

Vol retardé (+ d'1 heure), pilote qui annonce que les autres vols à Frankfurt sont aussi retardés, donc qu'il sera possible tout de même de continuer le voyage. Annonce qu'un employé de Lufthansa va nous attendre pour nous aiguiller. Rien de cela ne s'est passé. La seule chose c'est que j'ai manqué ma connection, à peu près 8 heures de retard. Inacceptable

Le fait de refuser de servir un deuxième verre de vin sous prétexte d’effectifs réduits à cause de la pandémie, Servir de l’eau ou du vin ce ´n’est pas plus difficile ! Aucun choix de repas et une bouillie trop cuite qu’ils osent appeler pasta. Personnel de bord particulièrement expéditif et antipathique. Le pire long courrier de ma vie.

Pleas to address the situation were totally ignored. This, I believe, is an unconscionable way to run an airline."

Nadelen: "Chaotic boarding process, like cattle all in one mass. Frustration of short transfer time exacerbated by failure of the scanners to accept the boarding pass, slow handling of passengers by gate personnel, lack of overhead storage required me to check a small carryon bag."

Nadelen: "Gate area was a chaotic mess running behind schedule. Seat assignment was lost and had to have agent reassign. Could never get online system to explain baggage policies clearly. Could not prepay baggage after I discerned the policy."
Voordelen: "Comfort was good because we paid an extra $45 for more leg room and we had an empty seat in our row."
Nadelen: "see comments above, Crew served beverages once and did not pick up trash at end of trip till asked. We have travelled quite a bit internationally and expected more out of an airline. Have booked two flights to Europe next year with other airlines."

Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."
Voordelen: "Icelandair announced the specific flights that had a tight connection time and provided vouchers to get through border control quickly. Delays boarding meant our luggage made it too!"
Nadelen: "Once we got to the gate, the line was long and not moving. Took forever to board so flight was half hour late (though never acknowledged in notifications)."
Voordelen: "We missed our connection because our flight was delayed by an hour. When we arrived in Keflavik, we were directed to the service counter and they got us on a different flight departing in 5 min. We hurried to through passport control and ran to the gate. We boarded the plane and realized they sat us in first class. What a treat. To our surprise, all of our checked bags made it through as well. Icelandair is officially out new favorite airline!"

Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."
Voordelen: "We got there on time. Pretty average flight."
Nadelen: "No meal is served on an international flight. Not even a snack of pretzels etc. I found it a little offensive to not have a complimentary snack or meal for a nighttime international flight."
Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."
Voordelen: "My exit aisle seat was just great, with no one on either side of me !!!!! Very kind airplane staff. I had a great sleep."

Nadelen: "Icelandair changed our scheduled flight’s airplane to a larger airplane to support stranded passengers from other flights. This was a good move for other passengers, but not for us. When they did this, the split my husband and I up by 10 rows! We were booked together on the same booking! We called the airline to fix this, but they refused because we booked through Kayak. We found a very nice counter agent at the airport who was able to move us to the back of the plane together. It is important to note that if you are in the front of the plane, you do not need to preorder food in order to insure that you get the meal you want. We flew Icelandair previously, and it was good experience. Since we did not know about the seat move, we didn’t preorder food for the 6+ hour flight. By the time they got to the back, they were out of nearly everything. We are unsure if Icelandair will be our choice next time we go back to Iceland. We appreciate their work to fix the other’s travel issues, however they missed the little details that could have wowed all of the passengers."
Voordelen: "There was some complimentary drinks, but food had to be paid for. I was happy I could charge my phone onboard during the duration of my flight."
Nadelen: "I've been on shorter flights where food was offered, but I was not upset about not being offered food. Boarding was cramped. Fortunately, there was an open middle seat next to a young woman and I, but unfortunately, she was messy. She immediately occupied the middle seat with her carry-on's and miscellaneous bags, she took off her boots and her feet smelled, and left all of her wrappers in the chair and foot space between us. I'm surprised no crew member thought to give her a word."
Nadelen: "Poor service at every level of customer service where good service should be given. The worst service I experienced was at the ticket counter in IAD and Glasgow."
Voordelen: "Movies."
Nadelen: "No food! Delayed arrival from London and security clearance delay with a final call for connecting flight was very stressful!!!"

Nadelen: "Reykjavik terminal is too small and was a mad house, with too many people and not enough seating. No clear instructions re: boarding. Everyone stood in line for a long time as no one knew what to do, and there was no waiting area or seating. No free food or alcoholic drinks on an international flight."

Nadelen: "1- Boarding was difficult. Embarking in Reykjavik was in gate D3 . We have to walk and climb stairs with our carry on. Once we got to the ramp level we noticed that gate C23 was at same level of the boarding ramp. Why to make elderly people climb stairs with loads? 2- 5 to 6 hours of flight and this cheap airline only offers a little cup of water, coffee, soda or juice (once from Dulles to Reykjavik, twice from Reykjavik to Dulles). Otherwise you have to pay above reasonable price for cold plates. Icelandeair is a Cheap airline not to the level of a nation like Iceland or not to the level 0of any other Latin American, Asian or some of the European airlines that offer a decent snack in flights of 5 or more hours."
Nadelen: "Both flights were overbooked, there was only one person in line for checking bags, which we stood for over an hour in and barely had time to make it to our flight."
Voordelen: "Several movies, tv shows, music to choose from to keep me occupied for the 6 hour flight."
Nadelen: "Too bad that there is no food included in the flights. We bought sandwiches, and they were worth it though :)"

There was so much leg room and the seats were comfortable. Additionally, the food was very good.

The flights were fine. They left on time. The seats were comfortable the food was OK and the bathrooms were clean. The plane was packed which is a good thing for the airline but not great for the passenger. All in all it was good

I attempted to change my return flight due to a medical emergency but was unable to do so through the call center. I requested a call back from a supervisor but never received it. Finally I booked a completely new return ticket.

The airplane selected for this 8-hour journey was way too small! It was uncomfortable, cramped, and not to the usual standards. A long-haul transatlantic flight needs to have more space and adequate overhead locker space for carry-on baggage. We had to check our small carry-on and they were the very last bags to arrive at baggage claim, 40 minutes after arrival. On two occasions I counted 17+ passengers lining up in the aisle waiting to access the bathroom, as there were only 2 lavatories in the economy area. Staff were clearly frustrated and the crew had to ask passengers to sit down to avoid blocking the aisle... another point why the plane was too small for that travel duration. Turbulence was frequent, again something that is not as obvious on a larger plane. As an Irish citizen living in the US, I'm so disappointed to see the Aer Lingus standard dropping and will be likely looking for other carriers for my frequent tranatlantic travels.

Voordelen: "The only thing to like was for the transatlantic flight they have a pretty nice selection of moves and show to watch."
Nadelen: "Not enough space to write all the thing wrong here. I will never fly Aer Lingus again."

Nadelen: "Buying via Kayak seemed to put us in second class status with Aer Lingus. We couldn’t get seats ahead, nor could we check in. We never received any notices from Kayak or Aer Lingus or Justfly who processed the sale."
Voordelen: "Nothing really. The price was good, but only a little cheaper than others. I will pay more next time for sure."
Nadelen: "Hot plane (no air vents). Rude attendants. VERY small, narrow seats. They removed a few bathrooms for more seats (rows without windows now). There was nothing to like. Nothing. I was on the IAD to Dublin flight (and back). Delayed flights both ways."

Nadelen: "On the way over, I couldnt get water. The trolley didn't come by, and I had to "leg-over" my sleeping neighbor to get a glass of water fo the back reserve. The TV wasn't working; the remote was dead. As it was a night flight, it didn't matter tt much for me, but it should've been working. The passengers could have been spread out better as there were completely empty middle rows. It would have helped with comfort."

Voordelen: "We received an upgrade to Business class that we submitted a bid for -- it was the difference between heaven and the usual too small, too squashed intercontinental experience. The whole experience post-upgrade was top notch, from the service to the food. Thanks, Are Lingus!"
