(Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. The random boarding went surprisingly well, although I'd prefer the more structured version. Until there is bread, butter and cheese, I am fine with the bland food."

Voordelen: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Nadelen: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."

Nadelen: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Nadelen: "Checkin at SVO terminal D is total disaster. Understaffed counters, hours long lines, lack of instructions and assistance. On oversees flight 4 out of 6 lavatories were out of service. Cabin crew were in such hurry that they missed our row couple times. They served water only 4 times for 10 hours flight and refused to give a whole bottle for some bogus security concern."

Nadelen: "Мллодой человек на чекине проверял параллельно вопрос для коллеги и не уделил нам должного внимания. ДОБАВЬТЕ ЭТО К 30 МИН ОЧЕРЕДИ до стойки и впечатление остается неприятное. Мы с двухлетней дочерью стоя ждали в набитом автобусе 20 мин пока не пришел один опаздывающий пассажир. Учитывая, что потом еще пришлось долго ехать через весь аэропорт и водитель неожиданно резко затормозил два раза (всё пассажиры буквально падали при торможении) это стало самой неприятной частью посадки."

Nadelen: "booking this flight was a nightmare. after several calls i was told i can upgrade to a seat with more legroom in economy plus at the airport counter for 12 Euros. it then turned out it cost me $80 for just one leg of the trip, and it wasn't economy plus, but a very narrow seat in an exit row right next to a toilet. The phone customer service was rude, unprofessional, and uninformed."

Nadelen: "The Airbus 330 had perhaps the most uncomfortable airline seat I've encountered. Seat 42K. It' seemed to have a weird can't forward, like my knees were slightly lower than my butt while sitting in it. Also there were no little air vents in the overhead console."

Nadelen: "How come when my mom got to the airport in Moscow, she was told that she didn't have her tickets?! She had to pay $700 for one way ticket! She was also told that tickets were cancelled four days after booking?! When i was still getting notifications about the 'upcoming' flight!!!"

Nadelen: "My seat entertainment unit did not work. My kid did not get a goody bag because they were out of it by the time they reached our seat - and sane thing happened on the flight out."

Voordelen: "New, clean airplane with a friendly and professional crew. It was not as uncomfortable as some of the other airlines I've used, though eight hours in economy is still too much. I chose it in part because of the connection through Copenhagen, which I recommend for an overnight stay. Great city."
Nadelen: "The chicken something or other on one of the flights was truly disgusting, but the rest of the economy food service was okay."

Nadelen: ""sporty" landing in Washington :)"

Voordelen: "The crew were fine and the boarding was efficient."
Nadelen: "The TVs were really old - my husband’s broke and mine couldn’t actually play movies due to it not registering fingerprints. The pocket in front of me was also ripped open spilling those annoying in flights magazines and the airplane smelled like the lavatory which was 6 rows up... just broken down and not well maintained. It was only a 9.5 hour flight but I expected better from SAS."

Voordelen: "Thre movie selection was great The crew was great Some of the food (in each meal) was good"
Nadelen: "Parts of each meal were great, parts were gross $4 for a can of soda? Really???"

Voordelen: "Getting off the plane."
Nadelen: "SAS like other airlines gives you a chance to bid on a nicer seat. If the offer is accepted, your card is charged the amount you bid and you are upgraded. If your offer is not accepted, you keep your seat and are not charged for bidding. I placed a bid for a nicer seat and was informed the day before the flight that my bid was rejected. But when the plane was boarding, I went to the man at the desk and asked if the plane was full. He informed me that it was not, and that I could pay roughly $300 for economy plus, or $1000 for business class. Online, I was ALLOWED to bid $200 for the economy plus seat. If they are going to reject this offer and then have the seat fly empty, they are a bunch of dicks. They had a chance for me to be a happier customer and to make more money. Now they lost both. What was also terrible is that when I family with an infant was moved up a few seats, I suggested to the lady next to me who wanted the newly vacant aisle seat that she ask the flight attendant for it. The flight attendant said it was fine. As the lady sitting next to me went to her her new seat, and old man from a few rows up took it. Another flight attendant had promised it to him. So, now the two of us are crammed, she's pissed that the seat she said she could have she couldn't, and I'm there like "My god, they wouldn't even take my money to let me have a nicer, EMPTY, seat." Poor communication, poorly run. Try another airline."

Voordelen: "Newer plane with comfortable seat for coach. I liked the two-four-two seating arrangement. The direct flight to my destination was a plus."
Nadelen: "Nothing was negative."

Voordelen: "I liked the food, the pillow and blanket, they give you enough or plenty food."
Nadelen: "Although there were many movies, I'd like to have more English entertainment ootions. It was a long 8 hour flight, I watched 4 movies, so options are very important."

Voordelen: "Most everything"
Nadelen: "I'd like to be able to get seats together as a family before getting to the gate...I had to ask for switches both outbound and inbound, which they were nice enough to make."

Nadelen: "Thankfully flight was a bit late since many from the previous flight needed to connect to this flight."

Voordelen: "The movie and tv selection were fantastic. Crew was kind and helpful. Chairs were pretty comfortable."
Nadelen: "It was so cold on the plane with most people including grown men with blankets wrapped up to their neck! I understand the crew moves a lot so want it cold but maybe there’s a happy medium? The cold snack sandwich with cheese and spread of some sort was awful. The main meal was better but not as good as some others I’ve had."

Voordelen: "Great movies."
Nadelen: "Special menus are impossible to get unless you book directly with SAS. Arrived starved and angry after 8 hour flight."

Voordelen: "On time, great customer service and great food."

Nadelen: "I didn't like having to buy alcohol or anything extra on an international flight."

Nadelen: "Rerouted without consultaton - added an extra leg to my trip including a necessary mad dash to catch the make-up flight."

Voordelen: "The promptness of leaving and arriving. The general friendliness of the crew."
Nadelen: "Movie selection is not great. Food was ok maybe slightly better than most airline food. My dissatisfaction is with Washington airport. J had two hours between flights and because of total mismanagement in immigration I missed my flight to atlanta. Totally unacceptable. I might not even get on the ten pm flight."

Nadelen: "Our bags did not make the connection. Lost a camera with vacation photos (Canon - Elph - black color with a card full of vacation photos.) Sad.... :-("

Nadelen: "Not enough characters to express my disappointment."

Nadelen: "Only one meal option ( with meat). Alcoholic beverage not included."

Nadelen: "Never made it to destination"

Voordelen: "Pleased with everything."

Nadelen: "From the time we reached the airport until we got to the gate was 90 minutes. SAS systems for checking baggage by machine sucks. My wife's number on the booking reference didn't work in the machine Thus we waited in line for 20 minutes to get a boarding pass, but didn't get the baggage tags for her luggage. Another line. SAS overall sucks."

Voordelen: "Movies were good."
Nadelen: "The quality was not worth the price. I could've taken another airline for cheaper and got better service"

Nadelen: "The flight attendants were rude. Not once was water offered. Only one drink cart for >8 flight."

Voordelen: "Scandinavian Airlines was good to work with in person to fix issues."
Nadelen: "This was a connecting flight that was swapped to go to Newark instead of DC due to unforeseeable delays in DC. Not bad in and of itself but they only gave me a few hours notice that my flight was changed (email sent at 1 AM on a 7 AM flight) and I lost my already paid for upgrade to premium economy. They couldn't find any record of me having purchased an upgrade when I went to check in on my 5+ hour flight."

Nadelen: "Almost absent crew And almost no service. Made flight with United and with United connection. SAS lost my connection, told ME I canceled my reservation. What a mess that was! I could also not reserve any seats online because flight was partner united flight and neither airline would allow me to choose seats."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Delay after delay. Screaming kid the whole flight. Could not sleep."

Voordelen: "Quick, painless boarding process with friendly cabin staff and above average food. Flight was delayed about 15 minutes by a maintenance paperwork (according to the announcement) issue. Not fully booked, so very relaxing atmosphere onboard."
Nadelen: "Delay"

Voordelen: "Movie selection/Entertainment choices were good. Food was ok. Overhead storage space was adequate."
Nadelen: "Seats are awfully small and legroom is cramped. The crew was standoffish and inattentive. Beverage service is lacking."

Nadelen: "Had to pay 70 euro to check 1 bag at the airport!"

Voordelen: "Traveled business class after winning the upgrade bid. Really felt like there was little room for improvement. The physical set up, the service, the entertainment were all delightful. The privacy, the horizontal sleep option on a 9 hour flight were just special."
Nadelen: "Felt the food choices needed an upgrade. Fresh is not the only important ingredient."

Nadelen: "I really enjoyed flying with SAS on my way to Stockholm but on my return flight back to DC it was dreadful. Boarding the plane in Stockholm was one of the most unorganized setups I've ever witnessed. Something so simple was made so complicated. Second, their seat recliners go so far back that you barely have space in front of you and can barely see your tv screen. On my previous flight I was in a row where there was no one in front of us so I didn't get to experience the recliner situation. Passengers on the plane were getting into fights. So bad."

Voordelen: "Easy boarding, food equate for economy, entertainment fine. No wine or beer inc,used in economy but not a big deal. Excellent seating if you know what to chose."

Voordelen: "Fabulous"

Nadelen: "90 min waiting in the plane withou ac in IAD 4 hs delay in Copenhagen airport. I missed flight back from Athens because a ferry delay from Santorini despite calling SAS being updated of my delay. When I arrived to Athens airport, SAS staff left and KAYAK was not supportive. My tickets were cancelled from Athens to IAD."

Voordelen: "Clean Cabin/Food selection/"
Nadelen: "it all started at Boarding..... long lines with no access for premium passengers to board. get to Aircraft and no greeting......Late /Delayed Departure which caused a HELL of a Trip including missed connections in IAD and Sleeping in the Airport till that next day! my 16 hour trip back home turned into 37 Hours.........Cabin Crew not so friendly and in a rush! I was surprised, normally they are always pleasant and smiling."

Nadelen: "Could not even PAY for an upgrade due to a meal request, even though I brought my own food - and would waive the meal request. Inedible vegetarian meals in flight. Earbuds didn't work. At least I had my own to use. Plane became stifling warm mid-way. Friendly flight crew does not make up for the terrible gate experience and inflight discomfort. SAS cares about profits not passengers. Plan to take another airline on future flights to Europe."

Nadelen: "sas online system needs to be overhauled and user friendly. one sas phone agent not helpful, called back and the agent was very helpful"

Voordelen: "Very friendly crew"
Nadelen: "Flight got delayed. Would be nice if the crew would come around w water occasionally"

Voordelen: "Great to go through customs in Dublin so the landing at home is easy."
Nadelen: "The airline made people unnecessarily nervous by posting a very early boarding time so people thought they had to jump in line in customs when, in fact, we all had the same departure times and all had plenty of time."

Nadelen: "They do not offer free bags to America anymore."

Voordelen: "The only thing to like was for the transatlantic flight they have a pretty nice selection of moves and show to watch."
Nadelen: "Not enough space to write all the thing wrong here. I will never fly Aer Lingus again."

Nadelen: "Ran out of my preferred food choice."

Nadelen: "Over 90 minutes delayed. Plane was so hot it was uncomfortable"

Nadelen: "We got to gate after standing in the lobby 30 min prior to take off and they wouldn’t let us in gate . We were in the air lingus lounge waiting for the flight and the gate attendant said she called our name on speaker which she did not . We get to gate and they say we are no longer able to board the plane"

Voordelen: "The airplane, crew, service, hospitality, and enternaintment were great."
Nadelen: "Logistics of US border control while leaving Dublin was not as efficient nor smooth as the EU side."

Nadelen: "Buying via Kayak seemed to put us in second class status with Aer Lingus. We couldn’t get seats ahead, nor could we check in. We never received any notices from Kayak or Aer Lingus or Justfly who processed the sale."

Voordelen: "Nothing really. The price was good, but only a little cheaper than others. I will pay more next time for sure."
Nadelen: "Hot plane (no air vents). Rude attendants. VERY small, narrow seats. They removed a few bathrooms for more seats (rows without windows now). There was nothing to like. Nothing. I was on the IAD to Dublin flight (and back). Delayed flights both ways."

Nadelen: "The fact you even had to pay for coffee is absurd . There also should be some in flight entertainment"

Voordelen: "I loved that the trip was relatively short and uneventful. The food was adequate, but nothing to brag about and very little. The hostesses were nice,better than last time. The price was right on, mostly for a trip of under 15 hours...when usually it is 20h with a stopover."
Nadelen: "On the way over, I couldnt get water. The trolley didn't come by, and I had to "leg-over" my sleeping neighbor to get a glass of water fo the back reserve. The TV wasn't working; the remote was dead. As it was a night flight, it didn't matter tt much for me, but it should've been working. The passengers could have been spread out better as there were completely empty middle rows. It would have helped with comfort."

Nadelen: "Didn't have the opportunity to book seats on return trip. Booked the seats on outgoing and found out when we got to airport they were already assigned to someone else."

Nadelen: "The entertainment system wasn't great. The earphones quality was quite bad and felt really uncomfortable. Unfortunately, AerLingus still has that double pronged plugs and I wasn't able to use my personal set (actually, I could but sound would only work on one side). I'll definitely fly with them again, only next time I'll bring an attachment for me to be able to use my headphones."

Voordelen: "From Brussels to Dublin, we had a good flight. The air hostess was attentive enough and the cabin comfort was excellent."
Nadelen: "That we can't even have a cup of coffee without having to pay 3 euros. I thought that was outrageous."

Voordelen: "We received an upgrade to Business class that we submitted a bid for -- it was the difference between heaven and the usual too small, too squashed intercontinental experience. The whole experience post-upgrade was top notch, from the service to the food. Thanks, Are Lingus!"

Voordelen: "On time"

Voordelen: "On a long flight, it was great having an empty seat between me (window) and the other passenger in my row (aisle), especially given that I paid an extra $55 for my seat.. ( I do need to add, however, that 5-6 hours into the flight, a passenger two rows back became ill which required that the row be vacated so I ended up with a young woman sitting in the middle seat next to me who announced that she was sick -- and looked that way.)"
Nadelen: "Food was really poor. Other airlines do a much better job! Also, it would have been nice to have had the kind of curved headrest that makes it easier to sleep, especially on a long flight. The short flight from Dublin to Alicante offered this kind of headrest."
