Nadelen: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."

I had to pay thousands for new flight Austrian Air. Swiss thieved my money and I dont mind saying so. Unfair and unfair conduct. I am saving this letter for twitter to tell my friends of my disgust. I will be happy if this is sorted refunded immediately. A copy of these details and medical letter already provided to Jithendra from flight network (online travel agent)."

The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"
The check in process was long and could have been faster if more staff was available. The line of passengers was too long and there was no one to guide the line. The boarding process was a bit better. Although several announcements were made regarding mask wearing, it was not fully enforced on the flight. This left me feeling unsafe considering the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and flu season.
The boarding procedure was ABYSMAL. It is infuriating to be asked to "social distance" and wear masks when the airline is unable to conduct boarding in an organized and efficient way. The crew was totally incompetent in informing waiting passengers. No microphones. No digital display of boarding order. No staff assistance. Waiting for WAY too long with no explanation. It was perfectly awful. Food was eatable but completely tasteless. Not nearly enough liquid distribution.
Kayak/Qatar Airways tore one of my bags. I'd like compensation for it. Also, the check in at Chicago was time consuming and tedious owing to RT PCR checking. That should be made more efficient. Likewise, the check at Mumbai airport.

Nadelen: "Initial confusion at boarding with paperwork and onward passage through Athens,GREECE. Once again the airport teams reached out to my colleagues and I ahead of time and managed to resolve to satisfaction. Perhaps reservation team can trigger a call to the passengers while they are still at home asking for the documentation validation electronically over a secured database.... just a thought. Again, being a part of the Experience and Innovation team, travel and tourism needs less human interaction, now more than ever. While we digitalized the obvious, the exceptions can remain humanized."

Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Nadelen: "Some water dripped from the ceiling on flight 736 Doha to Montreal, seat 37a. I am usually hungry on long flights and would have liked more food."
Voordelen: "We received friendly attitudes with lots of soft drinks. Upstairs in the airbus was good as my seat was near the emergency door, where I had room for my long legs. I was given aisle seats on both return flights so I could move about more. The meals were lovely. The airbus was good for peace & quiet from crying children."
Nadelen: "I had left an expensive style of neck/travel pillow i left in my Perth rental car but wasn’t supported to pick it up. I had to arrange for the car rental firm to post it. We had over 3/4 hr to fly. We were boarding. It’s a shame there wasn’t a quick way of getting my pillow to me without customs bureaucracy. It was a simple mistake. A toilet was blocked and temporarily unavailable. Some passengers were taking a long time and queues were building at different times."

Nadelen: "Boarding at Bali Airport is chaotic. This can hardly be attributed to Qatar Airways but this needs to be sorted out. When boarding began, it started with "Group 1" rather than business and other priority customers. It ended up rather chaotic with boarding halted at the end of the escalator causing a very uncomfortable situation as people struggled to get off the escalator."

We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."

The attendants seemed to come around more often and there was a much better food selection for everyone involved. Overall, I found the flight to be safe, mostly comfortable, and the food was excellent."
Nadelen: "I had a family sitting next to me (I was in the aisle) and I felt that while the attendants were courteous and prompt in accommodating me, they all but ignored the people in the middle seats. I had to keep asking them on the attendant's behalf if they needed anything before they rushed on by. At one point the father told me that he was getting better service from me than the attendants. Also, one of the TV screens didn't work in one of the middle seats so the family had to do a switcharoo with their little one after they got settled so their son could have the working screen. I personally found that it was very difficult to recline my seat - I really had to quite literally put my back into it to get it to click into the reclining position."

Nadelen: "We had seats in the centre but ate at totally different times. Left aisle and right aisle worked a different schedule - annoying. Entertainment very high tech but odd selections."

Voordelen: "We boarded on time. Again, cabin crew was nice, courteous, and professional. Flight was not full- therefore, no passenger present next to me. Did not eat either meal- therefore, can not vouch for them; however, did have a cup of noodles. Again, the variety of music was nice."

Voordelen: "I was told there would be WiFi on the plane from Chicago to Hong Kong. There was not. Very disappointed. It was hot and not a lot of air circulation. And the seats are hard."
Voordelen: "I guess I can't expect much from what seems to be a low budget airline. The food was OK and the movie selection was excellent. I didn't have any issues with boarding or baggage check in. There was a mix of good and bad flight staff. Sadly, the staff in bad moods were servicing me."
Nadelen: "The bad mood in-flight staff and the uncomfortable seats. During boarding, I asked one of the staff if I can have a window seat because I have motion sickness and aisle seats make me feel ill. She looked at me flustered and said all seats are booked and that I'll be Ok with the aisle seat. On a different CP flight, a different staff was helping a couple switch with other passengers so they can sit next to each other. That would have been nice if they did that for me when I asked for a window seat."

Nadelen: "To the guy in 26G, it was incredible how you ignored three flight attendants when they asked you to put away your laptop. You were so obsessed with your own self interests that the general safety of your fellow passengers was not important. That must have been some email that you had to keep typing even as the plane was pulling away from the gate. So important in fact that you didn't touch your laptop for another two+ hours. But you did get it out again and proceeded to pull the same stunt as we descended. Stunning behaviour. I enjoyed how you convinced the crew to put your laptop in the overhead bin both times. I believe the clincher was the four carry on bags you had with you. Priceless. Guess you should be grateful you weren't on a US domestic flight. But I'm sure you would have turned the story away from you and on to the crew."

Nadelen: "We traveled the entire Hong Kong airport until they settled on a departure gate. Needless to say our flight was 2 hours delayed."

Voordelen: "Best meal service ever, my husband never eats airplane food but gobbled up the dinner and the breakfast served. Seats were comfortable, beverages were readily available, one of the best airlines in the world."
Nadelen: "Didn't have slippers, only socks. Slightly inconvenient having to put shoes back on to run to the restroom, which sometimes have wetness from God knows what."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was fine, the plane wasn't great but wasn't terrible either. Some of the crew was friendly and the food was decent. The agents in the airports were all very, very friendly however."
Nadelen: "The main reason for my poor rating of this flight was because when we booked these flights, they were listed as having WiFi available on the flights. The two longer flights are 14+ hours each and happen during the workday for us. This is a total of 28 hours (times 3 people) that we were not able to have in-flight WiFi. Almost all of our work is done online and thus, we could do zero work whatsoever during this flight. We basically lost the equivalent of two whole workweeks because of this oversight about the WiFi, which is very, very upsetting and cost us a ton of money. One of us ended up having to book a separate flight home in order to not lose WiFi for the entire way back, which added another $900+ to our travel costs. Additionally, the crew was fairly unfriendly when we asked about this and seemed to not care at all about why we were upset. We understand that the in-flight crew cannot install Wi-Fi on the plane in the middle of the flight, but some understanding and apologetic behavior goes a long way with an upset customer. Additionally, they were rude whenever we called for service and asked them for anything, always seeming to be so bothered to leave their discussions in the back of the plane. Finally, I've flown many flights across the world and I have to be honest that this was the least comfortable and nice plane I've been on for such a long flight. You think upgraded planes with WiFi would be used for these extremely long flights. We're all very upset about our experience on this flight and would really like to be contacted about this flight and spoken with. We would like for something to be done for us to make up for this HUGE oversight and bad experience. We don't want to have to call the bank and try to get our charges reversed for the flights, but we definitely feel that we were sold something that was not what we experienced. Nadelen: "The plan was older and the seats were uncomfortable and cramped compared to other long haul flights I've been on. I paid extra to fly with Qantas because it's usually a better experience but this was poor compared to past flights. My tray table was broken and kept falling down. My boyfriend had a lot of technical issues with his TV. Boarding was done poorly as it was a bit of a free for all. And the food was very bad."

Nadelen: "Was seated in the center section and after getting settled and buckled in I kept smelling vomit and realized the seatbelt had dried vomit all over it. I couldn't get the flight attendant to help and finally got their attention and was told they couldn't do anything until after we were in the air. I was moved away from my family to another center seat. The flight had many open seats and we should have been kept together."

Nadelen: "Because of an equipment problem, we missed our connection. Qantas booked us on an American Airline flight six hours later for the LAX to JFK segment. It was a much smaller plan, no food included, and the seats we paid for were not provided."
