Very nice, professional staff even after 13 hours of flight. Just excellent. Thank you for this very pleasant experience. Will definitely fly Singapore Airlines again."
Nadelen: "There is room for improvement with the special meals. The non gluten brun was very hard. In general it would be nice if passengers could pre-order from a set selection of foods online what they would like on their tray. This would hopefully lower the amount of food that sadly goes to waste. Also it would be nice to have gluten free snacks on board. Flying with celiac disease is not easy."

Voordelen: "Staff are great and on board service was good. Boarding is always well organised from Changi however it was a full flight and as always half the passengers exceeded their carry on allowance. Rather than addressing this bags were flung everywhere no nowhere within your actual reach during the flight. Very annoying when you are a passenger who does the right thing."
Nadelen: "See above. No in flight entertainment makes you feel like you're flying with the low cost carrier rather than a full service airline."

There was a bit more leg room but that was about it, Having said that Singapore Airlines overall is pretty good - toilets kept nice and clean and everyone well taken care of."

Voordelen: "This time I made the mistake of flying with my kids (4 and 6). The flight or them was last minute (booked less than 8 hours before take off) so there were no pre-planned kids meals etc. The in cabin team were awesome! They made sure they go a choice of meals, that they had things to do, that they were enjoying the flights. This on top of the usual awesome that they have."
Nadelen: "It's still in Huston. Flying economy isn't the same as flying business but my bank account says I need the cheaper option. Can we please move this flight to DFW instead? :-)"

Nadelen: "Waiting on line to check in was more than a half hour although there were probably only 10 people ahead of me. Got a hard time on the weight of my carry-on being more than 7kg although I had to point out that my ticket allowed me two bags that were 23kg each - I had nothing to check. Eventually, when I pointed out that I could wear enough of the clothes from the carry on, they agreed to let me take it on. On board, the service was cold, bland and infrequent. The entertainment system lost sound perhaps 20 minutes into the flight."

Nadelen: "Comparing to recent businesses class flight on Emirates; Singapore airlines seat does not recline to flat bed. Boarded flight st 11pm and arrived at Singapore at 7am. Toiletries like tooth brush and paste, razor etc. were not provided. Emirates provides, so we did not pack in-flight."

Nadelen: "At CKG, mobile boarding passes for international are not accepted by the security screening authority, which says only boarding passes printed at the counter are acceptable. The QR counter opens approximately 3.5~4 hours ahead of the departure of the airlines only flight from CKG."

Nadelen: "Low cost airline so they charge you for everything. I had to pay $159 to check a bag for a 1.5 hour flight. That nearly doubled the cost of the original ticket. By the time they charge you for everything, you don't save any money. And they even weigh every purse, backpack, handbag, etc. at the gate and start charging customers for carry on. Don't fly with these guys. And because their customers are dissatisfied, all the employees I encountered were rude."

Voordelen: "The staff at Qatar Airways did everything they could to make this flight one of the most enjoyable of my entire life. The food was well prepared and exceeded my expectations. I also enjoyed that the food was served at times that minimized the impact of the time change."
Nadelen: "The movie and TV options were impressive; however, in-flight WiFi and power would have been convenient and improved the entertainment on board the flight."

Nadelen: "No lounge in Philadelphia took my Priority Pass. On the flight, the woman in front of me threw her chair back without asking and almost had hot coffee all over me. When I asked her to put her chair up, she got mad. She went to staff to insist she could put her chair back. I showed them that I was indeed in a back brace for a health condition and that I needed opportunities to move and shift, cross legs to release tension, etc. Staff sided with the rude woman, who, given the chance to move to an equal seat on the opposite aisle where she could recline, refused to move. I was very frustrated and have never been treated with such discrimination regarding my health concerns."

Voordelen: "Our flight attendants were all amazing, but especially Joanna!! She was outstanding and went above and beyond to assist us in every way possible!!"

Nadelen: "however there was no internet and bad entertainment. You couldnt really navigate on Oryx One and it was hard to select the autoplay or map. There was no remote unlike the B787 between MAN and DOH. Pre-download things on laptops, tablets, phones or whatever ifyou are not going to sleep on the flight. It also took 3 hours because of UAE and Qatar :("

Nadelen: "Helper was literally dragging two whelchairs at a one time. Means two passengers sitting on two different whelchair was pulled by one helper. I actually want to share video with airline so they will understand what they are promissing and what they are providing to their customers."

Voordelen: "Although I felt Qatar responded poorly to the cancelled flight, the actual flying experience was wonderful and made me forget about the extreme inconvenience and poor customer service regarding the cancelled flight."
Nadelen: "My flight got cancelled ten minutes before boarding. Workers gathered phone numbers and told us they would call to direct us a new flight. However, no calls were ever made. I had to call the airline multiple times to get an answer about a new flight. In my first call, the customer service was rude. There was also zero compensation for the inconvenience."

Nadelen: "The process of checking in is difficult because qatar codes are different from asiana, therefore I couldn't do an online check in."

Nadelen: "Food on the four different flights (from DFW to Doha on to Cape Town and then from Johannesburg to Doha on to DWF) was not good at all. Timing of meals, food all below expected. One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."

Voordelen: "Overall, an excellent short flight. I was flying with oversize luggage (bicycle), which is offer a hassle. The ticket agent took care of it without issue, and it arrived safely. Food was OK. I would try Qatar for a long flight if the opportunity arises."

Voordelen: "Due to the multiple booking mess, I got a middle seat in a 14 hour long leg as all all isle seats were taken. I requested an isle seat due to health issue but no help. The flight was 1.15 hour late and made me lose my connection at Chicago.Never flying Qatar again."

Nadelen: "We departed late and arrived at least 30-40 mins late. Crowded plane. I was very uncomfortable, the person sitting next to me took up space and was not very friendly. Bathrooms were not so clean at times (this may not necessarily be the airline’s fault)."

Nadelen: "Snacks n drinks..water or soda offered after few hrs from dinner. Passengers should not ask for drinks or snack. I mean crackers or biscuits few hrs in mid flight. Even if passengers are mostly asleep, a crew member can walk down aisles with a tray of snacks. This will help some people wha mught not like the food or type 2 diabetic people who needs to eat n drink every 2 to 3 hrs. Signage on boarding gate is not clear. Your flight number and boarding time was in small projected sentences under a huge lettered former destination place."

Voordelen: "Was able to redirect from Kansai to Umeda after typhoon. Initially received misinformation though. Service was great except the one time I received a regular, not diet, coke and still had to drink it. Great job Cathay Pacific!"

Most of the staff were very friendly, but there was a bit of a language barrier which made it a little difficult to ask for something. They are also attentive, so if you press your call button, you don’t have to wait half an hour until someone helps you."
Nadelen: "Most of the meals were awful. I barely ate on the flights (except the dessert), but how good can airplane food be really... The seats are pretty tight and uncomfortable. They are too upright, making it very difficult to sleep. On one of their planes, the seats didn’t recline at all. I recommend paying a bit more for extra leg room ($150) or flying business or first class even (for long flights)."

Very minimal service provided during flight, minimal isle check by flight attendent throughout the 14 hours flight. I had the rudest flight attendant, she didn't smiles. Asked for drinks but never return. My niece request for cup of noodle, instead she responded if didn't my niece had already one. I asked for beef dinner but she placed on my table a turkey instead stated she ran out after I told her that's not beef. Flight attendant yelled out loud to tell the passenger to seat down instead of approach the passenger."

Nadelen: "Inform me hours before boarding a flight delay and layover time to connect to second flight extended from 2 to 18 hours. Called customer service for further info and arrangement. Long wait on calls and no definite answer if hotel will be provided. Customer service ny and hk no coordination and bounced me from one party to another. Poor attitude of Cathay at NY JFK Airport counter who showed indifference and claimed too busy to take attention."

Nadelen: "My Son's water bottle was emptied despite my protests that nobody at any airport has ever done such a thing. The water had even been okayed by the Hongkong airport 1st security point after we landed in HKG from Delhi. But the there was additional checking of handluggage again just before boarding and they threw away my Son's water. This is unacceptable. Also the food was not up to quality. I got practically the same food in both meals."

Nadelen: "Crew did not offer beverages or bottled water for coach passengers. The lights were left on for most of the redeye despite it being a 5 hour flight. The plane was old - there was food from the previous flight in my seat when I arrived. The blanks and pillows looked used and worn. Our flight arrived 45 minutes late with no explanation - it seemed to be a result of the slow/delayed boarding process. I will avoid Cathay Pacific going forward."

Nadelen: "A passenger and his wife were not seated together, so the passenger wanted to stand in the isle and talk to his wife over the top of me for significant portions of the fight. In a full flight keeping passengers out of the isle os key. I know this was a difficult flight for the crew."

Nadelen: "They pack biz seats in 7 across. Most airlines go with 6 across. Lack of space and they charge the same as other airlines. Low value for the money charged. Much better value using if you use any other airline."

Nadelen: "I felt cramped in my seat. the footrest, rather than helping, got in the way of extending my legs."

Voordelen: "The food was the best airplane food I've ever had and the alcohol was free. (By contrast, our SAS flight cost nearly twice as much, left two hours late, causing us to miss our connection, the food was medicore, and the alcohol cost extra). The warm towels were a nice touch. I also appreciated the video regarding in-seat stretching exercises, which were particularly helpful on a long flight. It was nice to board from both the the back and the front of the plane."
Nadelen: "The seats were too cramped for an 11+ hour flight. One minor annoyance: the flight left in the morning and remained sunlit the whole way as we were heading west. The passenger behind us was trying to sleep and complained to the crew about our shade being up even though she was not wearing the eye covers the crew had given everyone. The crew asked us (politely) more than once to put the shade down, but the electric light was not sufficient for our reading. I don't fault the crew for trying to accommodate an unhappy passenger, but it was an imposition on us as well."
