Nadelen: "Had an 11hr delay overall, 3.5hrs sitting on the tarmac only to be told to disembark for dinner at the airport. Then told that we won't be getting on until 7am the next day, but only really started boarding at 8:30am. By the time we were told about the reschedule to the next morning, it was too late to get a hotel room (too far away) and was told that I could use a 'Quiet Lounge' at the airport (which wasn't quiet). While waiting to board at 7am the next day, ground staff told us that they had to change the plane so there would be a further delay. On boarding, we discovered that it was the SAME PLANE."

The menu choices were amazing and the wine selections were very good. What made the difference was the attentiveness of the cabin crew. I would particularly like to commend the purser and the flight attendants on flight 707 DOH-IAD for their assistance and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty"
Nadelen: "Flight 707 was supposed to have the new Qsuites in Business Class, so it was disappointing that without prior notice the airline switched to an aircraft with normal (but quite good) business class seating. Nevertheless, the purser and the flight attendants made the flight memorable in a very positive way."

Voordelen: "Personnel were nice - seems like there were too many people to really have them pay attention to anyone. Plane was clean overall, entertainment is good."
Nadelen: "We departed late and arrived at least 30-40 mins late. Crowded plane. I was very uncomfortable, the person sitting next to me took up space and was not very friendly. Bathrooms were not so clean at times (this may not necessarily be the airline’s fault)."

Nadelen: "Restrooms, even before flight took off, smelled of urine like they had not been cleaned. Lines to use them were very long. Leg room SUCKED (and I am not a big person).....maybe 30-31 inches, but my knees were banging up against the seat in front of me!!! I booked this ticket thinking that economy would have more room than US-based carriers and it did not. It did not help to have a very large man spilling over into my seat from the middle seat (although he was very nice....still resent paying for a seat I don't have full "bandwidth" for),"

I don't eat pork nor shrimp, i will be traveling on the 5th of January again and i don't want that we will be starving again for the second time since last time we never eat for they don't have anything substitute for pork. Hope they will serve some chicken or beef for not everyone will eat pork and to starve while on the plane is not acceptable for we paid for it. Thanks"

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly n the food tastes surprisingly good, though the portion was small. The entertainment was good. and temperature inside the cabin was just right. Boating time was quick."
Nadelen: "Actually I was disturbed that CX offers a tabloid newspaper like Apple daily, especially at this sensitive stage when hk is going through such turmoil instigated and supported by Jimmy Lai’s group. It is offensive that such a biased newspaper is on offer, when there are other Chinese newspaper with a more neutral stand. Cathy has been viewed as a sympathiser of “yellow” rioters because of its involvement by management n crew. Now it just brings it more to the memory how CX might be what the leaked reports that many equipment has been compromised by CX crew onboard. Many of CX customers are from middle class, and it could be a big turn-off. It is unwise to patronise a tabloid newspaper when the owner has been named by China as the culprit of the recent troubles in hk. It’s like offering Al Jazeera news on united airlines entertainment........During the whole trip, I was captivated by these thoughts."

Nadelen: "From the check in, to the food and cabin experience is worsened by far. Check in - no check in line for premium passengers.( really bad experience) Cabin crews could not separate passengers from other cabin consisting using lavatory there fore passengers constantly walk back and forward. (It’s really unpleasant) It’s. Not worth the money to paid for the experience and services."

Voordelen: "I thought the service on this flight was much better this time around; at least from where I was sitting. The attendants seemed to come around more often and there was a much better food selection for everyone involved. Overall, I found the flight to be safe, mostly comfortable, and the food was excellent."
Nadelen: "I had a family sitting next to me (I was in the aisle) and I felt that while the attendants were courteous and prompt in accommodating me, they all but ignored the people in the middle seats. I had to keep asking them on the attendant's behalf if they needed anything before they rushed on by. At one point the father told me that he was getting better service from me than the attendants. Also, one of the TV screens didn't work in one of the middle seats so the family had to do a switcharoo with their little one after they got settled so their son could have the working screen. I personally found that it was very difficult to recline my seat - I really had to quite literally put my back into it to get it to click into the reclining position."

Nadelen: "A good half the plane was first class and business class. (This was a 15 hour Hong King to Boston flight.) They handed out a fancy menu with 4 entrees but by the time they got to economy only pasta was left. We did at least get a small bottle of water; on our outgoing flight they doled it out in meager glasses. When boarding in Hong Kong we had to go through an additional security check between the gate and the plane (that was a first...) and had our water bottles confiscated. So we were reliant on what they would give us on the plane. Seats were tight, unlike some airlines that give you a little extra room. Wouldn't fly again unless their price was a real bargain."

Nadelen: "Airline could have have notified us the flight was cancelled via email before we got to the airport. THEY DID NOT. We had to wait in general airport area for SIX HOURS, before we could check in to new flight. We planned trip to arrive to unfamiliar destination during day time. We arrived at MIDNIGHT! AWFUL!!!!"

Mainly because other passengers obviously don't read instructions re: weight/contents of cabin bags etc. Would be helpful if there was additional staff to deal with them away from check in desk. This would mean that others did not have to queue for 25 minutes because the check in girls also had to deal with them"

Nadelen: "I really don't like when at the gate the take your luggage and say you'll be the first to get it at arrival.. And now I'm still waiting.. That's really really annoying"

Nadelen: "The flight advertised meals..a small pastry was served an hour into the flight. I asked when the meal would be and was told a few hours...which turned out to be breakfast..i wated all night for food that only came an hour before landing. Now hungrey and tierd.I.will not be flying klm ever again !!"

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Actually the Welcome on board announcement. The part where they special welcome loyalty program members. I do not get that... I am an explorer holder my self, but really?? so other paying customers are not as welcome. This is leftovers from the older days.."

Nadelen: "My check in luggage was in very bad condition when I receive it. My clothes were all wet and they got bab by each other’s colour. Many clothes are not in a condition to wear now. Those were expensive and I had a big loss because of that."

Nadelen: "Inexplicably, our preassigned seats were changed at checkin and we were put in bulkhead. This particular Boeing aircraft is pretty poorly designed. Especially the bulkhead in premium economy."

Also I requested vegetarian meal online, but was not served vegetarian. They did not have any extras."

Nadelen: "Entertainment TV did not work. Flight attendants were unable to fix it. Made for a long, boring 7.5 hour flight."

Nadelen: "They canceled the flight after 5 hours of us sitting on the plane. They sent us away and told us to check back in in the morning. There’s been no communication since. I’m still at the airport. It’s been 16+ hours."

Voordelen: "Given the choice I would hands down pick Finnair over a US based carrier the Europeans provide bigger seats and better service... Little things like hot towels, extra wine and chocolate after meals was truly appreciated..."
Nadelen: "Im an amateur traveler and I could have used a little more info at the gate and about getting to my connection I had no idea where it was and that you had to go through a passport line to catch the connection. Came close to missing my connection..."

Voordelen: "Pilots did a great job at Helsinki. There were a strong wind and rain. Crew was really sweet."
Nadelen: "There was a confusion with boarding passes in Helsinki. Some of passengers were waiting almost until beginning of boarding with no seat number. Also was a delay because they're waiting for a some passenger from a connecting flight . Seats haven't enough leg room for person 5"8 but crew and food was amazing."

Voordelen: "World best airline since my last flight to Hong Kong. New aircraft with the most confortable and complete flight experience I had in years in economy class. Seat confort, movie selection and quality of the screen, food quality, boarding speed, cabine pressure, all was immaculate."
Nadelen: "They promised an upgrade to premium economy and then they didn't follow through, they lied when they said that row 30 was premium economy, all this felt very very weird. Jacqueline the flight attendant recognised the problem and gave us premium headphones to make up for the error."

Voordelen: "Very simple but reliable and confortable flight. We got clear instructions to get to the next terminal"
Nadelen: "We took off late and arrived even later so we had to run to get to the next plane"

Voordelen: "The flight was on time, crew worked really well. The food was okey as usual on Finnair."

Nadelen: "I ended up sitting in the last row although arrived at the airport early, but was placed on standby."

Voordelen: "Good movie selection"
Nadelen: "Only drinks with dinner, other airlines serve the whole time. Limited selection of drinks. Other airlines do not limit. Not enough leg room and I'm only 5'7. Seat in front leaned back to far."

Voordelen: "I was a bit surprised by cabin crew 's welcoming words that were my native language ,which ware very familiar and joyful . I didn't feel well at that time with a severe cold and I endured during the entire fly . I know it's kind of bad but I made it to my country safely. The food was Korean food and I really enjoyed and loved it so much .The Helsinki airport is great with smoking booth and warm ."
Nadelen: "Nothing but I wonder if they could change my seat to upper one despite my additional fare because I felt bad the day and they had cold pills like medicine."

Nadelen: "Boarding was horrible. We could not get anyone to confirm a gate, then we were delayed and finally bused into the middle of the tarmac for boarding. A lack of information was extremely stressful and unsatisfying."

Nadelen: "I wish I had known this was an American Airlines flight. They're the worst. Delays all the time (including this flight), crew who couldn't care less, uncomfortable seats, general mediocrity. Next time tell your consumers what you're getting into!"

Voordelen: "Felt captain on the original flight did everything he could"
Nadelen: "Boarded late, taxi' around for 3 and a half hours, deplaned as flight was canceled, waited 3 hours for next flight which was then cancelled. All understandable until the announced that the flight was reinstated only to be followed by an hour of the clerks unable to put people back on the flight which caused it to be cancelled. Sent to another airport except the free shuttle wasn't running, 50 dollar taxi ride later I got to sleep on the floor until the gates finally opened 5 hours later"

Voordelen: "Everything about this flight was enjoyable. The Finnair crew took all of the potential pain out of an intercontinental flight. We will definitely be flying with them again."

Voordelen: "This flight was co-shared by British airways. After our horrible flight from San Diego to London, we decided to upgrade our returning flight from London to San Diego to a economy plus premier. This time the plane seems newer and recently refurbished. The seat can recline more, with lump bar support and nice foot/leg rest. It has a bit more legroom. The cabin is nice and new with large view touchscreen TV for each seat. Gluten free meal was good, I'm just glad they finally boarded the plane with my GF meal (after repeated unsuccessful attempts). The service was great, our BA attendants were polite and attentive."

Voordelen: "Plane was nice, new, every seat had an entertainment system. Crew was very nice and did their best to accommodate my needing a gluten free meal. *This was an Iberia plane, not an American Airlines plane."
Nadelen: "The Iberia web site, and web app were not functioning properly. I want able to save any of my personal information such as phone number or known traveler number. I was unable to select a gluten free meal prior to the flight since the web app and website were not working. I tried calleding Iberia customer support over 10 different times and was never able to speak with a representative. The customer support prior to the flight was non-existent."

Nadelen: "One of the crew members was rude."

Nadelen: "I wanted to go home early..... They wanted to charge me 400 dollars to change my booking"

Voordelen: "Very pleasant crew!"

Voordelen: "Food on into fight inedible..No Food on domestic. Charge for everything."

Nadelen: "If you are not planning to sleep, bring your own book, tablet and earbuds! The airplane has no individual screens for entertainment, only tiny drop-down screens."

Nadelen: "The stewardess could have been nicer. Very rushed, they were polite but just rushed! Also the lack of CLEAR English speaking crew!!!"

Voordelen: "The meeting I was attending in NY got postponed so I lost the full 1/2 return ticket. Nothing I could do, all at once all kinds of small text appear in big and over 400 $ was lost. This is the last time I book with Kayak. Better pay a bit more directly with the airline but do not have a deal like the Kayak deal. So please remove from all your sites. Thank you VV"

Voordelen: "Boarding was quick and efficient. Flight crew was polite, helpful and friendly. Had adequate leg room in coach, added plus was the flight was not crowded so did not have anyone sitting next to me. Did not feel squashed and claustrophobic as a result. Food was satisfactory."
Nadelen: "Was inadequately fed on the Houston to London leg. Got nothing but a nightcap. The following morning I received a cold, stale croissant as part of a lunch box for a preschooler, nothing warm, no protein after 8 hrs in flight. I could not check in online."
