Dur sur les fesses, le dos, les jambes et le sommeil! Bref, cette classe n’a plus rien de premium!"

Nadelen: "So many things! Starting with the way assistance in the airport is offered to travellers with mobility issues! This is an important issue that needs to be revisited and changes for better service to be made!"

I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Nadelen: "The boarding area was total chaos. In order to get to the gate I had to literally fight with the 100s of people who were waiting in the same area. No priority was given to family with children or elite members. Even when we complaint at the personnel we were told that “it was busy”. Usually KLM flight from Venice depart from the first floor where gates are bigger and you get straight with the finger to the airplane. Today it hasn’t been the case .... too poor service for a KLM fight"

Nadelen: "Très mécontent des deux compagnies (Air France et Air Antilles): nos deux valises ont été perdues, et aucune compagnie n’est capable de savoir où se trouve l’une des deux valises, un comble! A l’heure où tout est informatisé, tracké, les aéroports sont censés être des endroits sécurisés.. Mais on arrive malgré tout à perdre une valise dans la nature...! Aucun professionnalisme, on nous ballade de services en services sans aucunes informations ni renseignements susceptibles de nous rassurer. Je suis très déçu, voyage de retour gâché par la faute de ces deux compagnies plus a même d’encaisser l’argent des clients que de se soucier d’eux."

Nadelen: "Avion indécent vu le prix des places. Siège étriqué. Écran ridicule. Pas d'usb ni de prise. Repas sans saveur. Petit déjeuner a peine correct. Avion mal nettoyé et j'en passe..."

Nadelen: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Nadelen: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."

Nadelen: "Very little room in economy class. For a 6'1" person, it's impossible to get comfortable."

Demande de justificatifs d'adresse lors de l'embarquement alors que ces justificatifs n'étaient pas requis sur le voyage aller. Vérification minutieuse de l'ensemble des poids des bagages à main (qui étaient tous conformes) pour un vol intérieur d'une heure... A l'évidence le service client n'est plus au rendez-vous avec Air France."

Voordelen: "We were a little delayed, so I read my book. Not for long though as I was really tired after my flight from Los Angeles. I fell asleep right after take-off and didn't wake until we landed. Best way to fly :-)"
Nadelen: "Very little legroom for a 6'1" guy. Would have liked a bit more space, but I guess I was too tired to let it bug me."

Nadelen: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Nadelen: "Didn’t have the meal I ordered Got in 30 min early but no gate for us. We waited over 80min on tarmac to deplane I paid extra for an exit seat but there was no indication when I did that there would be walls for armrests and that made it very uncomfortable for me"

Voordelen: "Haven't flow with Air France for some time now and definitely noticed a lowering of standards"
Nadelen: "The gate changed 3 times and the terminal was very crowded. The staff seemed disinterested and distracted. The quality of the food has dropped dramatically."

Voordelen: "Superbe avion avec un beau service de divertissement, équipage très gentil et attentionné, offre des cousins et des couverture ce qui est très rare maintenant, il faut les acheter. Si je devais reprendre une compagnie aérienne, je les choisirais sans hésitez."
Nadelen: "offrir une petit collation non payante pour un vol de 5 heures..."

Voordelen: "The cabin crew were all pleasant and attentive. The entertainment system had a lot to offer."
Nadelen: "The seat bottom was flat and hard."

Voordelen: "You have to put up with a lot but it’s a cheap way to get to Europe."
Nadelen: "As has happened to us before our extra leg roo. Seats (that we paid extra money for) disappeared when we checked in and we’re replaced with separate seats in the back of the plane. Boarding is long and very disorganized. It took over an hour to get our bags."

Voordelen: "Everything was ok"
Nadelen: "Nothing!"

Nadelen: "Short flight limited beverage choice, but pleasant underbooked flight."

Voordelen: "Appareil moderne. Tranquillité du vol. Nous étions 3 dans la classe Saga.."
Nadelen: "Pas de service en français. Pas de divertissement en français. La bouffe non mangeable. Débarquement par l'arrière de l'avion. Embarquement par bus"

Voordelen: "Embarquement prioritaire. Avión moderne N'étudie acceptable."
Nadelen: "Pas de divertissement en français. Pas de service en français. Retard au départ."

Nadelen: "The check-in process was horrible. It took over an hour to drop off our bags and get a boarding pass."

Voordelen: "A bit more leg room for a budget airline. Water and toilet were free."
Nadelen: "Very expensive and limited food options for such a long flight. Impossible to avoid the very third-world Reykjavik airport. The facilities and services were not adequate to serve the volume of passengers passing through on the weekdays we were there. The over- crowded spaces presented both safety and security concerns in my opinion."

Nadelen: "Huge lines for everything,got delayed by 1 hour....."

Voordelen: "Avion neuf, confortable et silencieux. Nous sommes partis en retard mais sommes arrivés « presque » à l’heure prėvue."
Nadelen: "La barrière de départ n’a pas été indiquée sur les écrans électroniques, et comme nous nous étions enregistrés en ligne et que nous attendions au salon où les vols ne sont pas annoncés, nous sommes arrivés tard à l’embarquement et avons presque manqué notre vol. À bord, le personnel a fait le nécessaire mais pas plus, service peu chaleureux et minimaliste. Le débarquement s’est fait avec une navette, comme à Mirabel dans le temps, et comme il n’y avait qu’une seule navette à la porte arrière, le processus a êté laborieux."

Voordelen: "Good movie selection?"
Nadelen: "I had to pay for extra luggage, because though I paid for an Economy Standard ticket which does come with checked-in baggage, there was nothing written on my ticket to prove it. I paid for the standard ticket ahead of time specifically. Although the staff were nice enough, for a struggling student, this mix-up was unacceptable. I now find myself making calls and trying to get in contact with both Kayak and Icelandair for a refund of the 88euro. I think I was particularly unlucky, because I was picked twice for special security checks, which pulled me out of the line I was waiting in while the flight was delayed, and I had to re-enter the line at the end. Though I requested window seats, I did not receive one either time (though I knew it wasn't guaranteed). There was also no overhead storage space for carry-ons overhead, so I had to make my way to the front of the plane to store my backpack, and several of those who came after me had to sit with their carry-ons on their lap. The seats were also pretty uncomfortable with a thick unadjustable headrest; and the air quality was terrible, a bit smelly and very dry. As a frequent flyer (who does fly with icelandair occasionally) this was unusual."

Voordelen: "Inexpensive ticket. Boarded and left right on time. Small, crappy plane (757=200). It was so old, there were still ashtrays in the back of the cabin!"
Nadelen: "The D gate area for check-in is a zoo, and we saw more than one couple looking for the correct gate. We were charged a bag fee of $77. IF one goes on line 36 hours before you can get if for $55. We were unaware that the bag wasn't included (our bad, of course), but when we pointed out that on Iceland Air check in there was NO place that asked for bags?? They said it was our fault for not "reading the fine print". We can only check in 24 hours in advance, so WHO would think to "manage trip"...36 hours in advance?? Especially in rural Iceland which is where we were 36 hours ahead of time. We would have gladly paid the discounted rate for the bag, but no on was willing to help us with that, so we got soaked for $77 and were told to take our concerns to Iceland air customer service."

Voordelen: "Just enough room to be comfortable and the seats reclined enough so you could sleep. But I watched three good movies instead."
Nadelen: "I would have looked led a free cookie."

Voordelen: "Nothing good about this airline"
Nadelen: "Forget about comfortable experience during the flight. The way how they list the ticket from Kayak is the scam. Stated Economy class on Kayak and their own website ticket info. Once you chek in, they will stated this is the cheapest economy ticket, doesnt allow any baggage, and you have to pay I think around $150 for round trip baggage. End up with just to carry on, wouldnt able to shop in Europe. If you includ baggage flight would be similar to other airline provide baggage and quality services. Huge mistake, customer service located overseas, and dont care about customer."

Voordelen: "Got home safely"

Nadelen: "Made me pay for checked bag"

Nadelen: "Baggage fees were horribly expensive."

Voordelen: "Flight attendants seemed nice."
Nadelen: "I think Icelandair maybe the most disorganized flight I’ve ever been on. 3 of our 4 of flights were delayed, one for 3.5 hours. Found it amusing How they provided a 14£ Refreshment Compensation but announced it after almost every restaurant had closed. Information agents were either unavailable or late when an issue was present and weren’t helpful most of the time. I would do my best to never fly IA again or recommend them to anyone, especially those traveling to and from the US/Europe."

Voordelen: "Everything went okay for us on this flight. In the future, I will suggest to my wife, who books air travel for us to read the fine print. The cost to check a bag was $100.00 which would have run us $300.00 for the trip: Boston to Brussels with a layover in Reykjavik, but on the return Brussels to Reykjavik with four days in Iceland and the return to Boston, so there goes the cheap flight! I did enjoy the in-flight movie and a documentary on the return trip as well."
Nadelen: "My own earphones on the flight from Brussels to Iceland did not work. I could not plug them into the system."

Nadelen: "Refreshment cam 3 hours after departure Wait lines everywhere because the plane was not ready when they opened the gate"

Voordelen: "Not much to like on this leg of my flight"
Nadelen: "Was over an hour late to board and depart. Missed connection in Seattle, was then given printed paperwork for new flight which would not get us through security and then had to go back to main desk, almost missing connecting flight for the 2nd time. Little to no communication as to why we were delayed. Very little help from flight crew as to what our options were since connection was missed etc."

Voordelen: "Clean plane and facilities. Nice crew. Email notifications of delays"
Nadelen: "Multi-hour delays - strike induced on outbound flight, weather induced on return flight. Email notifications were nice but inconsistent. Expensive food."

Voordelen: "The entertainment selection was good (movies) and the staff was friendly, however on the 8 hour flight, my headphone jack to watch movies did not work."
Nadelen: "The connector for my headphones did not work on the 8 hour flight, every other airline will provide, at a minimum, a complimentary snack where as on this flight you needed to pay for everything, seat assignments were changed (booked with a group of 6 and we were all sitting with each other when we booked it but when we got to the gate everyone was scattered. In fact, I heard a man say he was on his honeymoon and that they changed his wife's seat so they were unable to sit together."

Nadelen: "No free meal or alcohol. Small seats."

Voordelen: "The wanderlust salad is fantastic!"

Nadelen: "we were delayed 7 hours due to technical hour. 3 of these hours were spent on the tarmac."

Voordelen: "Nice to have complimentary food and drinks served. the blanket and pillow were much needed. Thank you."
Nadelen: "It would be nice if the wifi was free."

Voordelen: "Personnel sympa, avion confortable."
Nadelen: "Absence de repas de qualité offerts."

Nadelen: "48h et 27 minutes de retard sur l'horaire prévu."

Nadelen: "5h de retard.... Aucune prise en charge par la compagnie. Si je n'appelle pas, personne ne s'occupe de nous. Retour cauchemardesque!"

Voordelen: "Riding in economy, the only good thing about Icelandair is the crew, beverage selection, and an okay entertainment system."
Nadelen: "Paid wifi is slow for work use (ex: bad for VPN) but ok for personal use. There is no free meal service compared to other carriers. The seat space does feel a bit cramped, but not the worst."
