I ordered a vegan meal months in advance. The meal never came and they tried to give me chicken. I told the attendant and she said nothing she could do, someone must’ve messed up so I had nothing to eat. She was very rude about it and did not apologize or anything, just said “handed them all out already” and walked away. Another attendant eventually came over and I asked her for some help and she was able to provide me with some snacks and she was very kind.

Food was terrible and you only eat because you are hungry. Only water given between meals. Should have used other airlines for this long haul flight. Will not repeat.
Everyone was super nice! Plane was clean. The food was good. The long flight was made very pleasant by SAS.
First time flying with SAS. Decent budget airline. Didn’t like having to pay for snacks and drinks. Seats were comfy. Took off over an hour late after sitting at the gate. Nice crew. Would probably fly them again if the price is right.
Wifi connection could be better
I never flew with SAS before and got to fly all the way from the US and I loved it !!

Nadelen: "We were in 40G and H, bulkhead seats. I have never had such a hot plane (and I am a world traveler). We were both very warm (felt like 85 degrees- warm enough to not be comfortable). I was told by the flight attendant that people in back of plane were freezing. The breakfast was good, but the dinner was ok, but not ‘I wish I could have seconds” good. I lowered the rating because they never gave us more than the one bottle of water that was on our seats when we arrived. That may have been ok for the people in the cold part of the plane but not for us in the sweating part. Luckily we had brought a big bottle of water."

I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Nadelen: "8 years ago on similar flight from Lax to got, we had to retrieve checked bags in Sto, and then go through security. It was not clear at all on this trip if it was the same. SK agent at lax seemed unsure, Arlanda customer service agents at baggage in Arlanda also seemed unsure. We then learned from another airport worker at baggage they would go all the way through. It is very important to know since turn around time is very short, and I almost missed flight 8 years ago, and bags did miss it last time. Tks"
Voordelen: "It was weird boarding last. We understand different airlines have different policies but we believe letting the elderly and families with little children should always have first priority... We as a family and with an elderly who is not 100% well have big challenges... It is always nice for other airlines to get us in earlier so the elderly and the little children can settle. This airline's policy is a shift for us. If not for the good price, we'd choose another... But it was just ok just a longer wait... Children and the elderly should always have the best benefit... Not the busiiness people.. Crazy policy!"
Nadelen: "Service was mediocre. Staff was nice but not very caring like other airlines and most were older women who are burnt out... Its almost like they don't want to be there. Food was excellent but there was a charge for red wine. This is Europe. Thought the US was bad... Economy class comfort is not that comfortable as always... o well! Your staff English especially the women announcers were terrible. We could not understand hardly anything. The pilots were a lot better! Need to take English classes.. Sorry but have to be honest..."
The flight attendance were honestly very helpful. I think that the quality of the food could be better and more entertainment options like other airlines have
The overall experience was fantastic. Flying from LAX to Dublin Ireland was very nice. The connection flight was not very good.
Trip started two hours late and the staff at the gate took forever to say why until I went up and asked when might they be telling Us when to board.
The flight crew was very accommodating and the seat was comfortable.
The seats were too close together and my tv was not working!
There was a woman who kicked, hit and pushed the back of my seat the entire flight. The flight attendant spoke to her twice but she persisted in doing what she wanted to do. I wasn’t able to sleep at all for the whole 10 hours. Food was gross. The only thing that was edible was the tomato and mozzarella cheese.
It was the worst flight of my life. My headset didn't work, charger didn't work, seats were small and my pillow is bloodstained. Completely unacceptable! I paid for preferred seating and I was the last one on the flight.
The service and onboarding were very good. My requests for vegan food were honored for dinner, but for breakfast there was no vegan option. We were told by the airlines that we would have an aisle seat, but we were the middle two of 4 seats for some reason.
Delayed boarding at LAX due to maps disappeared from the gps system. Assigned seats were not followed on board, had a passenger kicking my seat for the whole duration of the flight because annoyed that I was reclining my seat during a 10hrs flight. Food wasn’t good, cabin was freezing and cabin crew were taking away blankets from unoccupied seats even if the temperature was baltic. Entertainment was 1/10 compared to other airlines. We were informed that we missed our connection flight in Dublin and we would need to go to the desk and ask for a hotel voucher, but once in Dublin we did find out that the flight didn’t depart, therefore we made it onboard with 1.30H delay. After arriving at our final destination we couldn’t find our baggages at the belt because they didn’t load them in Dublin. Make yourself a favour, book yourself a long haul trip with other airlines unless you can afford business or first.

Nadelen: "The customer service from Aer Lingus is the worst ever. This is our honeymoon and it got ruined. The flight was 3 hrs delayed, and they started rerouting people that had connection flights to London, we had a connection and randomly Wendy the service agent decide to not reroute us because we had plenty of time, of course we didn’t make the flight, we have been hostages of Aer Lingus for the last 21 hrs so far, but more will be added until we make it to Hamburg tomorrow at noon instead of tonight at 8."

This not only made the 9 hour flight uncomfortable, but even more so when the person in front of me reclined their seat fully. - I understand it's Aer Lingus' policy, but I have never experienced--in my many travels--paying for alcohol on an international flight, especially cash only. - Regarding the above, I had to remind the flight attendant three times that she owed me change, and each time I was greeted with a sneer and, "Yea, we don't have it yet". It was not so much the money, but the incredibly rude service and charging for what should be a free drink! Some of the stewards (on the opposite side of the aisle) seemed very friendly and accommodating, but unfortunately, the two ladies on my side made me feel like a burden rather than a welcomed customer. - I guess it's, you get what you pay for...but I was just surprised at "breakfast" being tossed a box with a burrito--no napkin, utensils, plate, nothing. I won't be flying Aer Lingus again."

My son was feeling unwell due to asthma and asked for water. He got a lesson in manners and etiquette as he didn’t say please. I asked another female staff gor water. She didn’t respond so I waited a few minutes before askinfg again. She snapped ‘ I heard you!’ Made me feel uncomfortable asking for anything and that I was a nuisance. Seemed they could hardly wait to serve dinner and turn the lights off. I’ll be taking my own food on the return flight. I’m not expecting gourmet on an airline however this food was inedible"

Nadelen: "The flight has an hour delay from LAX that caused me to have 20 minuets catch my connection flight and I did not receive my bag. I’m on vacation for 5 days in Hamburg and I’ve already lost 1 day to go out and explore the city. This was my first time flying with Aer Lingus and I unfortunately will be my last time."

Nadelen: "Every seat came with useless headphone sets: the jacks were for an older model of plane. Flight attendants warned passengers that they had some headsets that would work, but were keeping them reserved for children, so not to bother asking for them. Flight took off more than 3 hours late and airline took no responsibility for delays. Blamed LAX contractors for everything. The airline is responsible for who they do business with. Because of takeoff delays, food and beverage service was also badly delayed. Had to beg for water several hours in, and was brought a single small cup."

Nadelen: "Our flight from LA to Dublin was cancelled day of and the airline put us on another flight. We came to find out that they did not place my fiancee and myself together. We tried talking to the crew but they seemed apathetic and uninterested in helping us. The said the flight was full and everyone checked in but after boarding we found many open seats.. while on the plane I requested help trying to relocate seats so we could sit together and not a single steward would help us. In the end, we finally found seats on our own... Very unhappy throughout the entire journey the quality of service. Never flown with such rude and unaccomadating service personal."

Nadelen: "Not only was my seat cushion lumpy and extraordinarily uncomfortable, the seat back was broken. My video monitor was as well... Possibly the worst overseas flight I've ever taken...10 hours of pure torture. Never again."

Nadelen: "I sat in a seat with a broken entertainment screen and the WiFi was so slow it was unusable. The seat I sat in also would recline on its own at times. It made for a very long annoying and boring flight."
Nadelen: "Paying for coffee??"
Voordelen: "The flight was very bare bones. Entertainment system froze up half way into a movie. You had to pay for wine with dinner. Even on budget carriers, wine is included with meals on the long hauls. Half a cup of water was served twice during the flight. The cabin was kept quite cold. I wore thick socks and slippers throughout the flight, but had to use the small blanket provided to keep my feet warm. Glad I had a heavy coat! I will avoid this carrier on any long hauls in the future."

Voordelen: "I was surprised at the minimal effort that went into that transatlantic flight. Disgraceful. I'm turned off enough to never fly aer lingus again. It was barely two steps above Ryan Air."
Nadelen: "The food looked like one put any effort into it, the coffee only came with milk and no milk substitute, there was only one kind of tea--no decaf and no herbal tea, and no butter substitute for people with dietary restrictions. Just a complete unthoughtful shame. My back is still sore from the lack of ergonomic considerations in seating. The blankets were cheap and thin and the plane was loud with no complimentary earplugs or sleep masks. Awful experience."

This is a cheat. You toke money from me but you didn't give us my ticket. When we reached the airport security said I don't have any flight booking while I had booked a ticket and your careless behavior I have to get another flight. Gave me back my money or I'll do a police case.
The flight departed a little delayed and we waited for a long time at a cue. The rest is OK, especially the comfort.

Nadelen: "They asked me to store my suitcase in an overhead bin at the front of the plane as they had run out of space so I complied. When it was time to disembark, someone had stolen my suitcase. I have not located it since and the customer service from Vueling is horrendous - they keep running me around to different departments and sending automated responses, refusing to answer my questions."

J'ai donc pris mon temps pour me rendre de la gare de Bordeaux à l'aéroport, pensant avoir plus de 2h devant. Arrivé aux portes d'embarquement, je m'assoie pour attendre l'annonce de l'ouverture des portes. HEUREUSEMENT, un policier me demande ce que j'attends, me dit que l'embarquement vient de fermer, que je dois courir. Arrivé devant la porte, plus de passerel, le commandant à était bien gentil de me laisser monter dans l'avion qui décollait 2 min après. Je ne vous remercie pas !"
