We did not realize we had to select vegetarian ahead of time, but having cheese sandwiches available made that easier. The small bag of toiletries that we were given was a very nice surprise."

The leg rests were absent and not enough room to spread legs. The basket in front too narrow and tight to put in anything. The charging unit for computer/mobile did not function. Nadelen: "The staff was not great. An issue with a first class customers made them move around economy customers like they ' really not even people but utilities, all that for that one person. If they would have informed and talked with the other customers that would have been fine but being treated like a piece of furniture isn't nice. Plus, continuous strikes in Belgium see a joke, check-in luggages delayed for plenty of airlines. This country doesn't even know what strike mean anymore being so often..."

Nadelen: "The flight arrived at MEX on time, but for reasons I don’t know, we could not exit the plane for an hour after arriving at the gate. This hour delay caused me to miss my next flight to Puerto Escondido, Mexico on Viva Aerobus. I had to stay the night in Mexico City because it was the last flight leaving that night, and I had to purchase a new flight to Puerto Escondido."

Voordelen: "Delta is the airline to fly if you have to fly (like I did) during a pandemic. They made sure at every turn we felt as safe as possible. They had passengers distanced from each other the whole time, handed out sanitizing wipes as we walked on the plane, made sure folks kept their masks on, gave us individual little baggies with snacks and water bottles that also had individual hand sanitizer packets. I felt so much more safe flying Delta on my way home to Hawaii in July than I did when I flew American Airlines on my way to the mainland in June."

Nadelen: "LAX security is awful. We never left the airport (arrived LAX from Sydney AU) yet were forced thru security again. Had to remove shoes, was scanned and "frisked" by TSA to get to Denver. To go to Australia, Denver TSA waived the removal of shoes, skipped the scan for the metal detector and no one touched me, ditto for LAX on the trip to Sydney. Where's the uniformity or standards for TSA?? Why did I have to be subjected to this garbage on the way home?? This is why I despise flying. It makes no sense to me. This ruined what was a great vacation."

Nadelen: "De onbetrouwbare procedures bij KLM en Schiphol. Kan niet online inchecken bij Delta: KLM operated. Alleen op Schiphol. Daar ook niet bij machine. Naar een loket. Die meneer geeft aan: stop uw koffer in automaat. Die accepteert niet. Had die meneer ook gelijk kunnen zeggen. Volgende loket. Die mevrouw geeft groen Delta label: uw bagage wordt in Atlanta direct doorgezonden naar Kingston. Ik loop dus door in Atlanta. Maar behulpvaardige meneer melde: uw bagage wordt niet doorgezonden. Nooit uit Amsterdam. Wie moet ik dan geloven? Ik toch maar wachten. Blijkt koffer toch van bagage band in Atlanta te komen. Als ik op Delta/KLM info had vertrouwd, was mijn koffer dus pleite geweest, want niet doorgezonden. Geplande tussenstop duur van 2 uur was volgens douane te weinig. Dat klopte. Haalde maar net vlucht Atlanta/Kingston."

Seat does not recline but rather slides forward slouching you down and hurting your back the second you move the seat, let alone 11 hours of sitting."

Nadelen: "Went to SVO at 6 AM on June 11th for flight at 8:10 AM to Brussels. Waited in line to check-in untl 7:23 AM Because of long lines at check-in (Russia Day, apparently) and inadequate staffing for the large numbers, I succeeded in getting through passport control and security ten minutes before flight time, only to be told "no Flight" I had to buy another ticket for the next day at a second fare, all because of Aeroflot' s inadequate staffing. Aeroflot service desk only told me to " go back into the city" where I found an Aeroflot office. After meeting three staff members in succession there, they made no effort to make good on their error. I will avoid AEROFLOT on all future travel. Brussels and Amsterdam airports were so much better set up to handle the crowds"

Nadelen: "They hold me with no reason until I was late from my connecting flight. They made me pay taxes for alcohol that I purchased from duty free. Charge me $300 for next available flight. Horrible!!!"

Voordelen: "Economy travelers provided with 2 hot meals, earplugs, mask, blanket, slippers, pillow. Bathrooms have toothbrush/toothpaste. Wonderful experience all around."

Nadelen: "This time food wasn’t organized well, because in the menu was two dishes, beef stroganoff or some fish, when came our turn to choose, we didn’t have choice, because only the fish was left. Second time was fish(again) and chicken, and also the salad was made from fish too... this time we got lucky, there was a choice because the serving started from our side. The chicken wasn’t good though, And still it is too much fish, and it didn’t taste good. I can compare , because I had other Aeroflot flights, and the food was really good, compare to this one."

Nadelen: "booking this flight was a nightmare. after several calls i was told i can upgrade to a seat with more legroom in economy plus at the airport counter for 12 Euros. it then turned out it cost me $80 for just one leg of the trip, and it wasn't economy plus, but a very narrow seat in an exit row right next to a toilet. The phone customer service was rude, unprofessional, and uninformed."

Nadelen: "I can never sleep on a plane and TV wasnt working :( It worked for the safety video, but stopped right after... for the whole duration of the flight... its hard to stay entertained on 12.5 hours flight... i only had one game on my phone... it felt like 48 hours... hopefully it doesn't happen on the way back"

Nadelen: "The crew had no smile, neither a hospitable attitude. The food in the second meal seemed stale. I did not finish the meal for fear of getting sick. The entertainment system was the slowest I have ever used in my life. The glass holder for my seat was broken. It took me 7-8 times calling assistance that someone finally came, which took at least 40 minutes. And last but not the least there was water dripping on the passenger next to me."

Nadelen: "I haven't flown Aeroflot since early 1990s. Will not fly it again. Boarding was a mess. Then sat on the plane for almost 2 hours. Don't even try their food. Legroom in economy worse than on US flights. Touchscreen didn't work. And, they left ALL the luggage in LAX. Spent 4 hours in SVO filling out papers for the lost/delayed luggage."

Voordelen: "I met an English speaking Russian that is trying to help me out."
Nadelen: "My gear bag is missing. It never arrived on my flight."

Voordelen: "The crew was super friendly and super helpful! Which was awesome since I don't travel internationally too much! But when I was running late for my connection due to a delay they made sure I made my flight on time. If only my Carry on bag would have made it too (it cannot run as fast as me through the airport). But overall, incredible experience!"
Nadelen: "The was okay (for airplane food it was pretty good), then my tv broke halfway through the flight so the last 6 hours were a little longer. But still an incredible time!"

Voordelen: "Aeroflot is an amazing airline - the people, food, seats...I highly recommend it. We flew Business Class and Economy and both exceeded our expectations and the quality of other airlines."

Nadelen: "The passenger sitting next to me smelled REALLY bad. Like he hadn't washed himself in weeks. Other passengers around me got a whiff too and also reacted the same. I asked the main crew member from my aisle for a seat change but he came back 10 mins later saying there was nothing else available. Later when I was walking around to stretch my legs, I saw there were AT LEAST 10 seats open in the next cabin. Why lie? The entertainment system touch-screen was not working properly and the headphones kept falling out of my ear."

Nadelen: "I didn't like putting two family on different seats far from each other"

Voordelen: "The crew and service were welcoming, caring and attentive"
Nadelen: "Many people bring the own headphones these days, but I didn't and provided phones were so-so, volume on touch screen was jumpy too,"

Nadelen: "This was a BA flight. Food in T3 in toronto was a disgrace, and the whole lounge experience was poor. The sleeping arrangements in business class had no privacy; the food onboard was mediocre. The Air CANADA flight on the same route is far better in every respect."

Nadelen: "The flight was late to Helsinki and we missed our connecting flight to Barcelona that was also on Finnair. I was given a hotel voucher to a nice hotel with a complimentary dinner voucher. The dinner was a buffet that was limited and less than mediocre. A chicken option was not even provided, no soup"

Nadelen: "Endless waiting and lost luggage. Excuse was unpredicted weather conditions. It was snowing in Finland so they had to clear the Ice from the planes.. Snowing in Finland? How uncommon is that during December? I think most of this is poor ground handling In Helsinki."

Voordelen: "The crew were helpful, pleasant and professional"
Nadelen: "There wasn't anything we actively didn't like. It was a good flight."

Voordelen: "I liked that they said ...you need to wait for 5 hours for the decision to get you or not on the next flight...and how much it will cost you extra now after having a great night spent at the terminal."
Nadelen: "All that matters for Finnair is that the flight took off on time... If you make it or not....if you know where to go...why to worry! It is your problem now! We will charge you up to "current" price now!"

Voordelen: "excellent service, loads of attention, good gluten free food choices with a finnish twist"

Voordelen: "The flight was very fast, boarding and getting off were fast and convenient. They had a new Korean movie that I've been wanting to see but didn't expect would be offered on an airline, so that was great!"
Nadelen: "The crew seemed quite stressed, when I asked to store my wedding dress in the crew closet they were very short with me, which made me feel really guilty about it, as the stewardess obviously thought I was very troublesome, but they did allow it. The food was quite bland. The entertainment was much more limited than most international flight lines."

Nadelen: "The 40 min layover between SVO-HEL and HEL-JFK required security check and walking approx. 30-gate distance. It was well organized, but still straining."

Nadelen: "The entertainment kept shutting off, and the crew had to reset it about 5 times. They were very apologetic, and kept trying until finally getting it fixed."

Voordelen: "IT WAS THE MOST ENJOYABLE BUSINESS CLASS FLIGHT I EVER HAD. THANKS FOR THE HOSPITALTY AND SERVICE."

Voordelen: "The Airbus 330 is an improvement over the Boeing 737 that took me to Europe (via Milan) on this trip. Unlike that flight, this plane is equipped with an updated on demand entertainment system. I attribute the upgraded airplane to the fact that this was a direct flight from HEL to JFK. Still no wifi though... Their magazine says it's coming. Upgrading to Economy Comfort is worth the fee especially if you get a bulkhead seat. Otherwise you are still pretty crammed in with maybe 6" more leg room. But the bulkhead seats are set well back from the wall to give my long legs plenty of room to stretch and get in and out of my seat. My friends in Economy looked miserable :( The chili con carne with rice was an improvement over other airline meals but still room for improvement - mostly in presentation I guess. Lingonberry 'salad' though a bit sour for me, was a nice Finnish dish to sample. Like the cheese and crackers. Departed and arrived on time. Liked the flight tracking that showed you very detailed what you were passing over and even gave us a bit of info and photos about highlights of each region flown over. Nice touch."
Nadelen: "This plane was such an improvement over the "bucket" that flew me to Europe that it has restored my faith in Finnair as a valid carrier for my yearly trip to Europe - like I said, probably because it is a direct flight to New York rather than connecting to another European (not Scandanavian) city like Milan. I would probably not use Finnair to access other parts of Europe for this reason. (On the departure end, the regional Finnair flight from Milan to Helsinki was also sub-standard.) I do think the check-in procedure is still cumbersome - self check in with bag check, though started at kiosks, still results in a long line just to hand off your bag to a counter agent. A few more agents would likely solve that problem... But it was better than going the other way - JFK was a nightmare! Helsinki only slightly better."

Voordelen: "The accommodations made me feel like I was in first class!"
Nadelen: "The screaming child behind me ):"

Nadelen: "Boarding was horrible. We could not get anyone to confirm a gate, then we were delayed and finally bused into the middle of the tarmac for boarding. A lack of information was extremely stressful and unsatisfying."

Nadelen: "very little leg room for anyone over 6 feet"

Voordelen: "British airways offers amazing entertainment selections on the Screens over 25, food was good"
Nadelen: "Check in line was terrible, I had checked in online but still waited over a hour to bag drop, service was not great either the flight attendants were not happy at thier job.."

Voordelen: "The crew were lovely, as were the people checking us in at the airport!"
Nadelen: "We waited 3 hours to fix a water problem on the tarmack and were seated in the middle of a large group of school kids. Would have been happier without those 2 elements."

Voordelen: "I loved the service. The flight attendants were attentive and courteous. They walked through the cabin periodically to offer water in the 6 hours or so between meal services, and also had self-service drinks and snacks in the galley during that time. Flight attendants asked passengers to put their seats forward during meal times, which very few airlines do. It was the same level of service I have come to expect from the Asian carriers that I usually fly (ANA, Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore). The meals were fine, and so was the entertainment. There was a decent choice of movies."
Nadelen: "The economy seats were narrow and cramped on the A340. I was in the first row of economy that wasn't premium economy. Even though the person in front of me had loads more legroom than me, he had his seat all the way back for almost the entire flight and hit me in the head while I was reaching for my bag under the seat in front of me. In order to get to anything in my bag, I had to put my head into the aisle because there wasn't enough room to bend down. Because of the angle of the seats, it was nearly impossible to get into and out of the row (and I was on the aisle)."

Nadelen: "I sat in the window seat. Trying to get out of the row is very difficult. The arm rests do not rise high enough to get around without needing to climb over them."

Voordelen: "Nothing!!"

Voordelen: "Food on into fight inedible..No Food on domestic. Charge for everything."

Voordelen: "Pretty quick to get on board, entertainment was great, seat comfort was good., wifi and prices were stupidly over priced and slow.,"
Nadelen: "American Airlines as usual has overly priced non-working wifi on a 10.5 hour trip.. He food was ok at best.."

Voordelen: "crew was friendly and courteous"
Nadelen: "had to be bussed to different part of airport to board plane no sound on the entertainment console"

Voordelen: "Wonderful service from the crew, especially given that we were traveling with a toddler and an infant on such a long flight. Everything went smoothly."

Voordelen: "Great airline. Food great comfortable seats."

Nadelen: "Don't understand why they do not open to get the seat until 36 hours ago. Our family of 4 got scattered all over; the agent was not at all helpful -- they seemed bitter about their working condition and the fact that they had to deal with dissatisfied customers. I talked to the supervisor and we were finally able to sit together just because a party of 4 did not show up. I am not at all happy with the AA for their stupid rule."

Voordelen: "Flight was 2 hours late taking off. Completely ruined plans we had made for our first day in London"

Voordelen: "Best price from Dallas to Barcelona, and then Madrid to Dallas."

Voordelen: "The flight attendants actually seemed to enjoy their jobs, they all were very nice and smiled not like other airlines where the attendants are very stiff and anything you ask for seemed to annoy them. Drinks sizes more generous than most airlines."
Nadelen: "a long flight from lax to lhr needs more snacks and refreshments"

Voordelen: "Travelled on B A Air Bus. I found it to be comfortable compared to previous flights operated by other airlines. Crew was excellent Overall it was a very good experience."
Nadelen: "The food - well it's airline food - ok but nothing exceptional."

Voordelen: "Crew was accommodating, entertainment movies was good and food/snacks was not bad for transatlantic flight from NY to Paris. Seats are cramped, but it is expected."
Nadelen: "Didn't appreciate the additional charge to select basic seats (not upgraded), not sure if justfly.com is affiliated with Kayak. I found it absurd but read reviews that if you don't select seats you might get bumped off your flight if it's oversold. I didn't take any chances so I paid the additional $29 and yet both my fiancee and I sat way apart. Arriving at the airport to check in, I saw options to select seats which made me upset even though there was nothing next to each other but way more options than online."

Nadelen: "When I arrived to board my flight I was highly unsatisfied with the excessive charges I received for my luggage that was overweight (only by 7 pounds). I was not only charged an additional $100 for my second checked bag, but I was also charged $200 for the extra weight. As a college student traveling abroad for 6 months, I did not expect to be bombarded with these fees at the beginning of my journey. Due to this experience, I would like to have been notified ahead of time of the expected charges as it made me uneasy before a long flight."

Voordelen: "For once the seats have enough space. Airlines think we are cattle and that they can pack as much as possible every airplane. For once I was glad to have a confortable experience."

Voordelen: "I was not well and at the check in the lady was kind to change my seat ..."
Nadelen: "I order a special meal ....no meal for me on the plan ."

Voordelen: "The flight was fantastic. It wasn't a full flight so I was moved to an exit row for more leg space. All the crew was very nice except for one lady. They distributed water often which was nice. You get options for dinner and breakfast."
Nadelen: "My problems began after landing. I booked a flight from LAX to Amsterdam, with a layover at Heathrow. When I originally checked in, they didn't send my things all the way through to my final destination. I had to exit the airport at Heathrow to retrieve my bag and go back through security, while trying to make my connecting flight."

Voordelen: "The Crew was great. Friendly and attentive."
Nadelen: "Very small seat. Had a big person next to me and was quite uncomfortable"

Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Voordelen: "nothing too exciting, everything as expected.Seats were a bit tight tho"
Nadelen: "Food tasted Horrible"

She pressed the button to ask for a moist towel but was ignored after much waiting; she pressed again, and more waiting came with no response. She got yelled at when she went to ask politely. I understand the crew can get busy but where is compassion for a customer in need?"

Nadelen: "For an international flight, only the first non-alcoholic drink is included for free. Let's say, if you want 2 orange juices, you have to pay for the second. Alcohol, of course, is not free under their system. Snacks? Forget about it."

Voordelen: "Everything was great! At check-in I upgraded to SAS plus. Will choose that again.comfortable, crew was so nice and friendly. Food was amazing. Made my 10 hour flight great. ."

Voordelen: "Flight itself was OK"
Nadelen: "It was very difficult to understand from the reservation or the website if I need to pay extra for a checked baggage. My emails weren't answered, and when I finally realized that I did have to pay - it was 85$ for one suitcase!!!!! SAS - are you out of your mind?! The suitcase cost more than the flying ticket! Sorry, but no SAS for me anymore. BAD BAD service and exploiting of customer's naivety. I'm furious."

Nadelen: "Crew unfriendly"

Voordelen: "Not enough space to store items."

Voordelen: "The automated kiosks made it ridiculously easy. Flying out of LAX can be a pain, but that went by so smoothly. I'm cheap and have become accustomed to Spirit airlines. So when I received free (decent) meals a complimentary bottle of water and a plethora of inflight entertainment."

Nadelen: "Wasn't assigned a seat and had to stand in a long line to wait to confirm that I had a seat for a flight I booked over 3 months earlier."

Voordelen: "The entertainment module is great!"

Voordelen: "Everything. The service was great, plane was comfortable and the ride was easy. I will try to only fly SAS from now on"

Nadelen: "Business class ticket and traveled just like economy. Never advised when booking no business class. Boarding was like a stampede."

Nadelen: "8 years ago on similar flight from Lax to got, we had to retrieve checked bags in Sto, and then go through security. It was not clear at all on this trip if it was the same. SK agent at lax seemed unsure, Arlanda customer service agents at baggage in Arlanda also seemed unsure. We then learned from another airport worker at baggage they would go all the way through. It is very important to know since turn around time is very short, and I almost missed flight 8 years ago, and bags did miss it last time. Tks"

Voordelen: "It was weird boarding last. We understand different airlines have different policies but we believe letting the elderly and families with little children should always have first priority... We as a family and with an elderly who is not 100% well have big challenges... It is always nice for other airlines to get us in earlier so the elderly and the little children can settle. This airline's policy is a shift for us. If not for the good price, we'd choose another... But it was just ok just a longer wait... Children and the elderly should always have the best benefit... Not the busiiness people.. Crazy policy!"
Nadelen: "Service was mediocre. Staff was nice but not very caring like other airlines and most were older women who are burnt out... Its almost like they don't want to be there. Food was excellent but there was a charge for red wine. This is Europe. Thought the US was bad... Economy class comfort is not that comfortable as always... o well! Your staff English especially the women announcers were terrible. We could not understand hardly anything. The pilots were a lot better! Need to take English classes.. Sorry but have to be honest..."

Nadelen: "My suitcase was never put on my flight from LAX - ARN, despite checking in 24 hours early and arriving at baggage drop 2.5 hours before my flight. I still have not received my suitcase in Helsinki, and they can't seem to locate it. I am on vacation in Finland and have no clothes, medicine, or toiletries and everyone at SAS and baggage claim have been very unhelpful."

Voordelen: "New and nice plane. Good amenities for coach. Good service for the most part. Food was tasty."
Nadelen: "Breakfast was kind of rushed. Would have liked to have been offered water, tea, and coffee more."
