Nadelen: "The seats were chargeable. I paid a higher price for extra leg room. However these seats were the same as other ones that were much cheaper. Why charging so much extra?! False advertising?! This is unbelievable."

The options were decent particularly the caserole in terms of portions. Plenty of overheard compartment space, even with a nearly full flight."
Nadelen: "The arm rest between seats doesn't raise to the full upright position, only one-half way. The TV needed to be reset by the purser due to it being stuck on kiddie mode. If you're a snacker, bring food."

Nadelen: "We had to sit on the runway for a very long time after landing and I missed my connecting flight. It also took a very long time to get a hotel assignment because I was stuck in Chicago overnight. The finnair air agents at ohare were not very understanding or helpful. I was sent from their line to American Airlines and then back again. They were slow. We waited in the line for a long time for someone to come and help us. overall they were not very apologetic regarding the fact that I was stuck there overnight. It took soooo long to get to the hotel. I arrived there well after midnight. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED SO CLOSE TOGETHER. NO LAYOVER TIME IN BETWEEN MEANS MISSED CONNECTIONS! THIS HAPPENED BOTH WAYS ON MY TRIP. VERY ANNOYING"

I was not offered any compensation however I heard some passengers were given $7 food vouchers to be spent only in a small convenience store that was the only store open."

Nadelen: "I booked this through Finnair and it was a British Airways code share .I was unable to get the record locator for BA and could not check in prior to getting to the airport ."

Nadelen: "I paid for an upgraded seat and after boarding other passengers were being moved to the same area that I had paid for an upgraded seat FOR FREE!"

Nadelen: "I missed my flight from Chicago to Paris. Because I purchased it through Kayak instead of directly through Finnair or American Airlines, their 'hands were tied' and they could not reroute nor reschedule me. Not only that, but because I was not on the flight to Paris, my returning flights were automatically cancelled. While this is probably included in the fine print etc., I find it ridiculous. There should be a better alternative for people who miss their flights than forcing them to pay a lump sum that is higher than the original ticket price in order to reschedule their ticket. Moral of the story: BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY THROUGH KAYAK OR SIMILAR AGENCIES, BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ATROCIOUS."

When called Finnair on the phone, they couldn't check us in, told us we have to check in at counter, by then all good seats were taken and I couldn't sit next to my husband, and this is our honeymoon trip. It's a full flight and All upgrades were booked by then so couldn't even upgrade to business class. Requested a gluten free meal, no crew can figure out it that meal was on board (not in system nor on paper list), so at the end no food for me. I have been dying BA for last five years and this had to be the worst BA flight I have taken, absolute chaos at the check in counter and no organization. One BA counter agent Alexa tried to help but it is just too late. I expected more from BA."

Voordelen: "Having read horror stories online about booking with Kayak's partner Justfly, I was prepared for the worst (last-minute cancellations, partial refunds, all-around crummy service). Actually, my Finnair flight was great - it was operated by BA, so it was a nice new double-decker Airbus plane. It was maybe 3/4ths full, so I nearly had a row to myself - shoutout to the jerk who decided he was entitled to the aisle seat. The flight was smooth and easy and best of all, it cost a fraction of what the BA price for a one-way from SFO to LHR cost."
Nadelen: "The food on BA continues to be meh, but what most people don't realize is that ALL airline food is meh, because your tastebuds don't work properly 30k feet in the air (it's a scientific fact)."

Nadelen: "Could be a little friendlier. Lights on the whole time during a red eye was pretty annoying. Don't know if this was on purpose or a malfunction. Entertainment system was hard to see and a little outdated."

Nadelen: "My husband uses a wheel chair and a delightful attendant wheeled him and about 20 other passengers to a very well equipped handicap area. There we all stayed until finally we demanded that we be taken to our flight which was supposed to leave in about 10 minutes. When we boarded the plane all the other passengers were already there and I was the last one on. All the overhead bins were taken and I had to put my carry-on under the seat which left me with almost no leg room. By the time we arrived in SFO my thighs and back hurt so much that I was worried maybe I would require medical attention. Which fortunately was not the case. It was luck that I had a bag that would actually fit under the seat."

Nadelen: "SAS is packing in 200 passengers in their Airbus 321, so no space and seat comfort like 0. Also make sure you have paid for bags, Kayak will sell you tickets that don't include bags.so double check your reservation. If you are stuck with a ticket that doesn't include bags, call SAS an add bags $35 per bag. Do this at least 24 hours before departure.SAS is the only one that can add the bags, kayak is unable to add bags after purchase."

Voordelen: "Every one from the check-in counter to the baggage claim was gracious, courteous and very interested in my well-being. It was quite a lovely experience.."

Nadelen: "- Boarding process chaotic. Boarding began 20minutes after the scheduled delayed-boarding time without any notice. Gate seating area at CPH was far too small - very stuffy and standing room only. - Aircraft on its last leg. Most of the A340's seats had broken cupholders. Restrooms were out of paper/soap with no attention from crew. Overhead personal lights were either burnt or malfunctioning. - Lunch meal was decent. pre-landing meal is the same as the snack... some sort of dry and non-appealing wrap. - Crew did not perform passenger safety-check before takeoff and landing (seat backs raised up and seat belts fastened)."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed so that would not be able to make the SAS flight. Therefore had to switch flights to go to CHicago instead. But initial flight was booked under alaska--but boarding pass unable to be printed from any of the kiosks and we were told to talk to American. American didn't know anything about it. THen stood in Assistance line for 45 minutes to be told that we needed to talk to VIrgin American. They rebooked us on to American, which then promptly was also delayed for several hours, and we thereby missed our connection. Throughout the process there were no customer service representatives either in person or on the phone who were remotely helpful. Overall, worst travel experience of my life."

Voordelen: "I chose SAS since I have used this airline on most of my travels to Norway. It has been without any problems and I highly recommend it. The staff all try to make you comfortable and do not hesitate to get whatever you ask for. I have no plan to change plane. Thank you."
Nadelen: "I do not like the way they conduct their business from the office. I know they are very busy like any other airlines but please return our calls and answer questions as we are fully entitled to their attention using their airline. . Thank you."

Voordelen: "I had a window seat with a view of New York City as we flew North."
Nadelen: "The sound quality of the earphones was so poor that I could not understand most of the dialogue of the film that I watched."

Nadelen: "The SFO crew was not helpful at all. Upon check-in, the SFO to Copenhagen leg of the flight was 2.5 hours delayed. When I expressed concern to the SFO ground crew, they said "You'll be taken care of in Copenhagen" in a very dismissive manner. I noted that we would miss our connecting flight (Copenhagen to LHR) and that there wouldn't be another direct flight that day. The SFO crew member told me that I was wrong that there was another flight available (a 4:30 pm flight). I told her that that flight wasn't on the SAS website and she told me that I didn't know what I was talking about in a rude manner. When I arrived in Copenhagen, the ground crew informed me that there was not a 4:30 pm flight and there never was. To get to London, I had to be fly first to Frankfurt then to London on another airline. Overall, this delay cost me over 6 hours. Utterly unacceptable and will never fly SAS again."

Voordelen: "I felt valued. The plane was clean and in good condition. The flight crew and attendants were very professional and took good care of the passengers. It was a quiet and stress-free travel experience."
Nadelen: "Can't think of a single thing."

Nadelen: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."

Voordelen: "What didn't I like? The crew was so friendly and helpful. The food was the best airplane food that I have ever eaten (the broccoli still had a crunch!). The seats were very comfortable and I loved the modern look of the plane!"

Voordelen: "Courteous staff, great food, CLEAN airplane, spacious seats. Zero complaints and WAY better than any domestic airlines (United, Delta, American) based on personal experience!"

Nadelen: "When purchasing the ticket there was no mentione that bagage was NOT included something which I assume when flying with an All Star airline. Ended up paying an extra 70 € for my luggage - not happy."

Nadelen: "A very dishonest experience. The booking never made it clear that I was not allowed to check my suitcase and I had to pay € 70 extra both coming and going and thereby paid 1 1/2 times more for my suitcase than for my ticket. I am very disappointed to be 'tricked' in this way and consider it a very dishonest business practice."

Nadelen: "I Had checked several times to make sure I had 2 bags included ( standard for US-EU flights) and every time. At the airport I had to pay an extra charge for my second bag which made the flight very expensive and just ruined the whole experience for me"

Only coffee, tea and water are free. - Was thinking of upgrading because I had one extra baggage, but was told that I still wouldn't be eligible for one free extra baggage if I upgraded to SAS Plus NOR SAS Business - There was only one option for dinner, which was Meatballs. The meatballs were worse than IKEA ones. I'd rather eat the IKEA meatballs than those. I usually finish my main meal and I didn't eat it because it was that bad."

Nadelen: "too long time before I was transportet with a wheelchair out to the flight. no food even not a biscuit."

Voordelen: "The staff was great but we hade one hour delay bording went very slow"
Nadelen: "My seat could not move and the antertainment system dident work"

Voordelen: "Sleeping!"
Nadelen: "Did not actually get a Polaris type cabin layout. The plane had not yet been converted."

Voordelen: "The flight was short."
Nadelen: "The last seat didn’t have a window so if felt like you were crammed into a tiny space and had no idea what was happening."

Voordelen: "Great flight"

Nadelen: "The worst flight of my life. Seats are awfully inconfortable for a night flight. I couldn't sleep at all. Screens are really annoying, most people don't know how to turn them off and they run advertisements all night long, nobody from the crew cares. Wifi app wouldn't stream anything on my phone. Im really sad that I will have to have the same night flight back to Houston."

Voordelen: "Professionnel"

Voordelen: "Tout est fluide: l'embarquement, l'arrivée, les bagages.. On était même arrivés avec 18 minutes d'avance!"
Nadelen: "On donne assez à boire mais presque rien à manger..."

Voordelen: "Assez à boire et à manger, on nous a donné ce qu'il fallait."
Nadelen: "Les écouteurs sont de piètre qualité. On ne peut donc pas regarder un film d'une manière convenable."

Voordelen: "Système multimédia sans fils fonctionnant sur nos appareils. Téléphone, tablette, etc."
Nadelen: "Siège pas assez large. Jouer du coude pendant 8hrs c'est pas amusant."

Voordelen: "La ponctualité"
Nadelen: "Le type d'avion."

Voordelen: "Le service à bord était impeccable."
Nadelen: "Les sièges sont nuls (ergonomie douteuse). L'espace pour les jambes n'es pas convenable (trop étroite et la patte du siège avant oblige d'avoir une jambe de travers). Système d'information de la position de l'avion est nul (pas assez complet), peux pas savoir combien de temps il reste au vol."

Nadelen: "A lot of turbulence on this flight, often interrupting cabin service."

Voordelen: "Avion en bon etat"
Nadelen: "Hôtesse désagréable et 1h30 de retard pour un vol de 1h45"

Nadelen: "Avion retarder plus de 3h , attente dans l’avion !"

Nadelen: "Seulement 1 choix de sandwich"

Voordelen: "Comfortable. Good entertainment and good service. Crew was nice"
Nadelen: "Missed our flight from Brussels to Zurich. United said we were booked on next flight six hours later. Gave us vouchers and that was it. Went to check in and the carrier said sorry you can’t board United did not book you. The voucher just has prior info and this flight time. So we missed getting on that flight 3 total hours on the phone with United and they did nothing but put us on hold. Thank you to Brussels air who finally after many years and frustration helped us so we could leave. More than 10 hours later than we should have. Horrible experience and we lost a day of vacation and pre paid plans for the evening I will never use kayak again for international flights. As that was part of the problem per United (probably BS but won’t ever risk it again) and will never use United airlines again as their customer service and lack of caring showed that companies true colors. I hope the rest of this dream vacation is better than this nightmare was."

Voordelen: "We were surprised to find ourselves assigned to the bulkhead seats where we had extra legroom and great access to the restrooms."

Nadelen: "5+ heures de retard changement d'avion vers avion vieux (écrans microscopiques) places réattribuées aléatoirement"

Nadelen: "Wish I could have selected my seat when booking my flight"

Voordelen: "Wonderful uneventful trip!"

Voordelen: "IAD to Brussels Flight is ok, just stuck between 2 guys with BO. Not really the United Airline's fault. But I hope they can atleast put a sign or something."

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Checking was chaotic with non working terminals and insufficient staff Plane was real old (4” scree...even my phone has bigger screen) Onboard drinks were exorbitantly priced (paid 8.99$ for gin and tonic where I got only half can of tonic) Food was ok"

Voordelen: "Les sièges et l’équipage en général. Le divertissement et le confort."
Nadelen: "Propreté et embarquement à CDG. Pas de menu enfant."
