We had to literally run to catch our onward flight to Boston. However, the ground staff at Dubai were excellent, called the gate staff to alert them about us and managed to get us on board. Surprisingly, our luggage was also loaded on to the same flight and we couldn't believe we got the luggage in Boston! Overall, all went well."

I went to check in at Beijing Capital airport over 1 hour (about at least 65-70 minutes) earlier than the time of taking off on Nov. 2, However, I wasn’t allowed to check in. The staff said I was late and asked me to spend extra $200 to reschedule my flight. Therefore I had to spend $200 on changing my flight to next day on November 3, which was one day late back to Boston than I expected. That’s too bad and incredible!"
Nadelen: "There are a couple of things need to be improved. First of all, the food were not fresh, especially the salad dish. In mean dish, the beef cooked with too much dark source and tasted salty. Hope you could improve the food quality near future! Secondly, the luggages came out too late. All passengers had waited for their luggages for more than 1hour, which was really too long. Please consider about the concerns! Thanks!"

The staff did not help and the manager kept walking off to assist other people while in the middle of conversation! We could have made our flight of they were a bit more helpful and attentive. The staff was very unprofessional, extremely rude and ignored our concerns of not being able to sit with our 7year old daughter, at least one of us! They found us a flight to Seattle which then connected to Chicago but expected us to pay for the plane tickets since they denied responsibility for having lost our luggage. They said it was our fault we missed our flight. It was such a terrible experience for my family."

Nadelen: "I pre-reserved seats via the HU website 2 days ahead of departure. When we checked in for the flight we did not receive seats together. We ended up having to ask other passengers to change seats,"
Voordelen: "Specifically called and reserved a window seat, then checked at the Hainan Airlines check-in desk while I picked up boarding passes and at the gate to ensure I had a window seat. I got a "window seat," but my row didn't actually have a window-- it was just a structural wall. That was a disappointment."
Voordelen: "Food, comfort and entertainment are good. The stewardess on airplane is also helping people filling the form in the airplane."
Nadelen: "I bought Hainan Airline round trip ticket between ORD and PEK from Kayak. Without flying first Hainan Airline ticket from ORD to PEK on Nov. 24, 2016 because of personal reason, I flew on Nov. 26, 2016 with American Airline instead. When I tried to use Hainan Airline round trip ticket to return US (PEK to ORD), I was refused to check in. I have to pay extra $413 to check in the same flight. Without any notice from Hainan Airline and Kayak, I was very upset with Hainan Airline service. I complain for this issue and call them several times, but there is still no respond from Hainan Airline. It is unfair for me to pay extra $413 air ticket without notice."

Nadelen: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"
Nadelen: "Horrible delay. I got letd to my next flyight. The airline stuff didn’t assist me at all and didn’t wanted to help me getting to my next flight. Horrible"
Nadelen: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."
Nadelen: "Long delays to go through security screening and then further delays as the plane was still being fueled at departure time."
Voordelen: "That we were heading home. Nice seats. Good food. Lots of entertainment choices. Power plugs ( USB and European power) were appreciated. Wine as a choice with meal was appreciated and brandy after the meal."
Nadelen: "Some of the shows and movies were a bit 'trashy'. Long flight. I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Nadelen: "Cabin was very cold. Not enough legroom compared to orher international carriers. Male flight attendant kept bumping into my husband sitting in aisle seat so he unable to get any sleep. We tried upgrading to business but Delta said we had to contact Air France in Detroit. When thrre, the gentleman on ground crew was actually rude when I asked about it. He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"
Voordelen: "Food has improved a lot on business class. Meals are more creative."
Nadelen: "Water bottles not given out unless ou ask for it. Crew needs to better trained with how to handle business class..."
Nadelen: "The food was the worst airline food I have ever been served. I could not eat it. This is very disappointing for an airline like AirFrance which usually serves very good meals."
Voordelen: "Very good male crew member. Pilot genuinely apologetic for the delay."
Nadelen: "After running due to a 1 hr 10 min change over between flights boarding didn't prioritise anyone but I got on fine. Only to be told at the departure time that there was a problem with the baggage hold and we were delayed. In total 50 minutes late leaving. Breakfast a simple brioche with nothing to add to it."

The biggest problem is they were picking and choosing which bags they weighed. 10 people behind us and before us got in without incident. Plane wasn’t even half full so they were deliberately trying to make more $."
Nadelen: "The company simply lets passengers board a fulled booked flight with far too much luggage. Result, take off 20 minutes late because there was not enough room for luggage in the overhead compartments. I was flying with just a small backpack that went under the seat"
Voordelen: "Very poor sound quality on the earphones. Made it very difficult to watch a movie and almost impossible to listen to music."

The food was just okay and the cabin crew refused to serve extra butter. When you are serving extra bread, make sure you serve the butter as well. How could someone eat bread by itself?"
Nadelen: "Cramped, no cabin bag space, late departure with no communication and lost checked luggage. Not a great Air France experience."

Nadelen: "Disorganized uninformed staff. One says I have to have an additional "random" security check after going through the same thing in security. Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Crew could have been more attentive and generous with water. Beverage service rather limited."

Also the personal could have gotten more times around to bring water. I had window seat and didn’t wanted to disturb my neighbors so I didn’t get up to ask for liquid but other passengers I saw getting up and getting their own drinks by the personal."

Voordelen: "Both flights I was on were somewhat empty, so I had an open seat next to me. Despite some delays taking off, the arrival was early. Good entertainment selection; personal TV screens and free headphones."

Nadelen: "Very, very cramped seating. Extraordinary measures needed to even try to maneuver arms to try to eat. Food provided sustenance but no pleasure. Seriously, you should just serve pierogies and everyone would be happy. Desserts were actually quite tasty."

Voordelen: "The food was good for an airline. on business class dreamliner from Toronto to Warsaw the seat is comfortable, if a little short for a 6'5" person. In the sos called "buisness class" to Israel the seats are as crampped as any cattle class of a low cost. I wish those idiots that invented "euro club" would understand that it is a first class ripp-off and that if they are only flying two people per side using real comfortable seats makes faar more sense. In short - euro club is BS of teh worst class."
Nadelen: "The atitude of teh staff on teh flight was OK. Other than that very sour including teh check-in and teh businss club. Going through the border control in Warsaw took 45 minutes. Luckily the flight was delayed. In short, the attitude is strictly old fashion eastern block. On the dreamliner business classs the TV's did not work, but in any case they are way too far (about 6 feet) from the passanger for comfort. Very impractical."
