Nadelen: "We arrived from O'Hare to Seattle and needed wheelchair assistance as I am disabled. When we approached the gate to ask for wheelchair assistance down the ramp to board the plane I was asked if I really needed the wheelchair. I thought that was an odd question to someone that walks with a cane and could be seen walking from the restroom to the gate which would have been a quick one minute jaunt for me 5 years ago but took at least ten minutes from the restroom to the gate. I was trying to figure out in my head how I was going to attempt this long walk while other travelers would have been quickly boarding ahead of me. This was my first of many trips to China to see family but will definitely be my last trip with Hainan. I was extremely disappointed in the way I was treated - is this the way all passengers with disabilities are treated?"

Everybody missed their connecting flight and had to then wait in a long line to get on whatever was next available. There was not enough signage or people working to tell us where we needed to go; we waiting in the customs line first before we realized we weren't going to make our flight, then had to wait in the other line to get on a later flight. It was very hectic and nobody knew where they needed to be or what was going on. Plus, customs took so long that we probably would have missed our flight anyway, even if it didn't arrive late in Seattle. It was an awful experience after traveling for 20 hours."

This also meant that my reading light was in operable as well as the flight attendant call light so I had to borrow my neighbors. Not the best experience or resolution."

Voordelen: "The flight itself was fine, but what spoiled it totally was the fact that the itinerary was changed from my booking and I had to stay 12 hours in Shanghi airport and be 5 hours late to my work on the next day. I will never book through your website again, very disappointing."

Two hour delay with no compensation
Even though we were just connecting in Stockholm, we had to wait in a very long line to show our passport and an even longer line for security. There was only one person working the entire security station, and they checked every person and every bag one by one. Thus, we missed our connection and are spending the entire day connecting through even more airports instead of enjoying our vacation.
SAS seems to like setting up flights that aren't ready to take off and then causing passengers to have to go through multiple transfers to get to their destination. The transfers also don't include the upgrades you paid for previously if their with a different airline. It is better to pay the extra hundred or so dollars to fly with an actual proper airline like Air France. Expect surprises if going with SAS.

Nadelen: "The seats are tight and uncomfortable. Emirates and Singapore airlines have much more space in economy class. They also have better food. The worst new development is that you have to pay an additional charge if you want to sit together. That is pretty ridiculous for an international flight AND when you have a small child with you. I can see doing that on Ryan air, but that is pretty low for a Scandinavian airline. Scandinavians have a very strong sense of family."

Nadelen: "Late leaving, when boarding in CPH had to wait in extremely hot area once past the desk where our boarding passes were scanned and then the area where we had to queue just prior to boarding the plane was glass and therefore extremely hot. The worst issue was that there was one family with extremely loud children with the parents doing nothing. I saw a steward way up the plane looking down at them at one stage while serving another passenger but she did nothing. I like children but this was constant with the father actually encouraging the children to make more noise once he realised that other passengers were annoyed. There were plenty of other children on the plane who were behaving. Although SAS staff were aware of this they did nothing to ensure the comfort of the other passengers. One friend of mine stood for about 40 minutes at the back of the plane and another for about 20 minutes to get away from this constant noise as it was so loud and persistent. I had to listen to music to block it out.SAS staff should have intervened because this was very loud and as I have said constant i.e. every few seconds for most of the flight."

Nadelen: "I took this flight to have a short layer over, only 40 minutes. This was a connecting flight departed from Newark and was a connecting flight for many people coming from Thailand. I almost missed this flight due to highly backed up passport control. If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water."

Voordelen: "At least on long-haul flights SAS Plus is quite nice, much closer to business class service than your usual premium economy offering. Real silverware, good drinks, pretty good food, plenty of space and a nice blanket and pillow. The lounge in Copenhagen is quite nice too."

Flight was delayed an I almost lost my connection in CPH. and it has the narrowest legroom of all Star alliance flights. my flight from stockholm was delayed and there was a massive queue at border control and no SAS or CPH airport staff to organise to get PAX through faster so they dont miss their connection I had to fight my way through the queue otherwise I would have lost my connection"

Once I did rebook, agent gave me wrong information and made me wait over an hour. I did get home, taking uber from a different airport. But should have been easier."
Nadelen: "I want to seriously complain about Air Canada and Kayak booking systems. I reserved the tickets to Shanghai but there were no place reminding me that I need Canadian VISA to connect flights between two Canadian cities. I am a Chinese citizen who is working at USA and not allowed to change flights in Canada based on the newest government rules. However, in both booking systems, there is no reminders. In my opinion, either Kayak or Air Canada can add a simple checkbox to let the potential guest choose his or her nationality status, then this kind of trouble can be mitigated. We talked and called Air Canada people but no buying. They kept saying this is our responsibility. We bought United Airline tickets at the last minutes and cost us about $2,400 because we cannot wait to get back China to prepare our wedding ceremony and US Visa interview. We are very very disappointed with Air Canada and will keep complaining about this issue. As a service supplier, how cannot you think on behalf of a customer? The air company definitely knows more about government rules than a customer. We did have mistakes of not researching government rules. However, the biggest mistake was we trusted Air Canada and Kayak who we thought had taken care of those kind of issues for us. Thanks."

Nadelen: "Vol retardé de 5h, on ne nous informait pas du développement. Stressant pour les gens qui devaient embarquer sur une croisière. Une fois à bord de l'appareil, bon vol. Temperature de la cabine très froide, surtout pour un vol de nuit. On gelait carrément!"
Voordelen: "Langues parlées : Anglais + français."
Nadelen: "C'était notre première fois avec Air Canada et nous avons été très déçus : tout est payant ! Bagage en soute et snack dans l'avion."
Flight was on time. Food was ok. Seats didn’t have much arm room but was manageable for a short flight.
The flight is awful, food isn’t very tasty or good, entertainment sucks
Nadelen: "Sitting arrangement Was poor. Five of us had five different seat. Missing luggage."

Voordelen: "The crew was very attentive. The pilot landed the plane smoothly. Although had a delayed departure from KUL, we arrived in Sydney earlier than expected."
Voordelen: "Boarding was easy even though it started late, it was organized. Once I got on the plane I wasn't waiting a long time to get to my seat because they seated the people sitting in the back of the plane first. There is a huge selection of movies, tv shows, and music."
Nadelen: "They have 2 food options and they're just ok. There wasn't very many drink options either."
Voordelen: "Entertainment was good."
Nadelen: "Sadly one passenger in front of me talked loudly, for 7 hours straight, took an hour to sleep then talked again for the remaining 5 hours. Not airline fault"
Voordelen: "All went Well, no delays, good service."
Voordelen: "cabin crew very friendly and professional"
Nadelen: "Seats cramped; not enough space, especially for long haul. Provide more space! Earphones didn’t work. Could not enjoy entertainment. Seat would not recline. Slow checking. Not enough counter staff. Check in counter contractor staff inexperienced and held us up for over an hour due to unfamiliar"
Nadelen: "No seat back entertainment. Very old plane."

Voordelen: "Amazing plane, latest technology, great customer service, clean bathrooms at all time. It was an excellent experience The seats were so comfortable as well, and the customer service on and off the plane was amazing"

Nadelen: "A very long queue, while only 2 counters were open."

Nadelen: "Flight delayed, no head phones supplied and the food was burnt."
Voordelen: "I was surprised to board an A380 to fly from KUL to BKK"
Nadelen: "In Bangkok we had to get off on the field to board a bus"
Nadelen: "They charged for the ticket but blocked the ticket so i had to buy mew ticket"
Nadelen: "Ok flight but so cold on board"
Voordelen: "Can’t find anything good."
Nadelen: "The airline is protected by the government. Hence there is no motivation for them to improve. This airline is my last choice. My biggest dissatisfaction is the hospitality shown by the crew.. not sincere and in some cases rude... is this the MH - MALAYSIAN Hospitality that they keep advertising? Very disappointing.."
Nadelen: "Economy class seats are getting tighter and smaller. When person in front reclines the seat you do not have much moving space left"
Nadelen: "Delayed of baggage claims for 1 hour, flight retimed/delayed for more than 1hour"
Nadelen: "my bag failed to arrive in bkk till next day and had been broken into at kl airport .bkk said this happens every day at kl never fly malaysia again!."
Nadelen: "Why did the entertainment get shut off more than 30 minutes before landing?"
Voordelen: "Second flight was quite empty and the plane was in much better shape"
Voordelen: "the staff were pleasant"
Nadelen: "the food was ok as I like spicy. But one mouthful of water and a small wine. soft drink, etc was not enough on a 4 hour flight. Leg room was very bad. I am average hight 5 ft 10 inch but could only sit sideways aas not enough room"
Nadelen: "Bags didn't arrive at the destination"
Voordelen: "Good on the plane and in the business class lounge was excellent"
Nadelen: "Our flight was delayed over 3 hours resulting in us missing our connecting flight from Kuala Lumpur to China and then Los Angeles . Malaysia airlines did not apologize or help us with rebooking our flights or offering hotel accommodation. They just left a family of five with no flight, stuck in Malaysia with no options of getting home. . Flight crew had very hard bumpy landing on both legs of flight and maybe they need to go review landing protocol so that we don't have to have a hard rough landing"

Nadelen: "Business class food is not that good. Menu were not provided so when time to take the order, we have to decide quickly."
Nadelen: "I was having 10hrs of layover in Malaysia, the airline neither facilitates with any transit lounge, room, and lunch. I am very disappointed."
Voordelen: "The staff were helpful, well trained, and friendly."
Nadelen: "The on-line check in (which their email says is mandatory for economy class--it's not) was buggy. I had to try three times before I was successful."
Voordelen: "Easy to get my boarding pass at the Changi airport. Seating was nice. Not many passengers in this flight."
Nadelen: "The magazine in my seat pocket was dirty."
Voordelen: "MH389 on 10-Jun'17, cabin crew member (王怡芳), has been very attentive, provide excellent service."
Nadelen: "Pudong airport ground stuff requested for Singapore identity card; soft copy was presented, both identity and re-entry permit issued by Singapore government. They were not clear, hesitate, call around. By the time they found out what is required, we already spent close to 90 minutes. If it is not due to flight delay, we left with very little time to clear the immigration, security screening and locate where the gate is."
Voordelen: "Malaysia airlines has some of the most beautiful women working for them. Most curteous, kind, and very personable. Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful"
Nadelen: "The long layovers with no hotel voucher from Malaysia air. That would be a big help especially for me since I travel alone. And not to familiar with hotel locations, taxis. I am concerned about my safety in another country..."
Nadelen: "It appears the staff don't want to be there, long check in queues, poor in-flight service, average food, not even offer water in-flight, plane was dirty, entertainment average, not at the standard for a full service carrier."
Voordelen: "The staff is great"

Voordelen: "Whilst I realise this is an Asian airline the warm roll was very doughy & tasteless & the breakfast wasn't at all good."
Nadelen: "The warm roll was doughy & tasteless & the breakfast choice was not good at all. Would suggest a yoghurt & cereal option for non Asians."
Voordelen: "Routing convenience if you are heading to Kuala Lumpur."
Nadelen: "Business class service falls short of other comparable airlines. Extensive auction of business class seats packs the cabin resulting in full fare passengers not getting a service representative of the class fare. Wines offered could be better."
Voordelen: "Flight attendants were friendly"
Nadelen: "I got severely sick after having ate in the plane. Only a weird selection of old movies provided. Checkin online bugging. Gates are very far in the airport."
Voordelen: "Much better than Air Asia of course."
Nadelen: "I dont know about the weather condition but I did feel a rough landing. I do feel the standard of the cabin crew deteriorating. Unlike few years back."
Nadelen: "Flight canceled last minute! Lost my connection back home. Still no news about pay back. Had to book another flight on my own expense."
