Voordelen: "I was surprised that such a short flight was able to use the newest generation of the 737, the 800 series. While as cramped your typical 737, the seat backs are super thin to allow just that much extra leg room for my two-meter frame. As always, the cabin crew was lovely."
Nadelen: "The DC China Embassy web site clearly states that a valid APEC Business Card can be used in lieu of a Chinese visa. In spite of this I was denied boarding by JAL. It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."
Voordelen: "Overall a good experience. Even with the unusual dislikes on this particular trip I would fly again on JAL. I would give this trip a 9.4 / 10."
Nadelen: "Checking in 48 hrs in advance with no aisles or windows seats for selection. Being stuck in the middle seat 26F for 9 hours. Discovered in LAX that my luggage tags were improperly tagged in TPE. I had someone else's luggage tags on my bags going From TPE to KIX to LAX to Houston instead TPE - KIX- LAX- Austin."

Voordelen: "The entertainment package was the best ever encountered with seemingly endless choices, keeping us happy all fight long. The seating seemed a bit crowded, and the food was mediocre. We survived, however, without any problem and overall enjoyed our first Dreamliner flight."

The entertainment was much much better than the American Airlines archive. They start boarding but do not open the doors of the plane so everybody has to wait long in the tunnel to access the plane. It would be better not to start boarding."
Voordelen: "OK, so it's a plane, and I'm in economy. Still, the crew makes you believe they're actually glad you're on board, and the amenities are quite good for economy travel. No complaints."

Nadelen: "Old plane (747). Not very attentive staff, I had to ask for a blanket 4 times before I got one. This certainly isn’t acceptable in business class. My meal choice wasn’t available. And I had to pay $50 to change my flight to a different day (again not acceptable for a business class ticket. I’ll avoid Thai airways wherever I can from now on. #avoid When I rang the Singapore Thai office they were unable to change my ticket to a new date and kept pushing me back to the online travel agent. Called Thai in Bangkok and they did it on the spot. Very inconsistent service."

Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Nadelen: "The flight from Copenhagen to Brussels was delayed long enough that I barely made my connecting flight to Frankfurt. However, my luggage did not. I hope it will arrive today."

Conséquence j’ai mangé un bout de pain et une barre tendre! De plus, le personnel était plus ou moins compréhensif et accomodant."

Nadelen: "Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."

Nadelen: "You sold wrong tickets to customers. I booked economy tickets but I got Econony lite ticket. Had to pay extra charges. You shouldn’t make money to sell lower class tickets as regular."
Nadelen: "Flight was 1 hour late. Didn’t make up any time while in flight. We came to no gate assigned. Additional delays due to wait for free gate. Unacceptable, missed my connection. Had to stay additional day for rebooked flight."

Nadelen: "Lufthansa’s/Austrian Airlines’s idea of a ‘snack’ is a pathetic little bag of sugar and chemicals that no one should have to be offered, even if it comes for free. Hugely disappointed. Flight attendants not attentive enough."

Nadelen: "We landed so close to our boarding time, by the time i got through everything, i was notified that i had to go to gate 11 for a special security check...it was stressful since my flight was boarding...i found it really frustrating . Ultimately the plane waited and it worked out, but the process was long and VERY stressful."
Nadelen: "I tried to reschedule due to a death in the family and due to the "small print" this was not possible. Then when I did travel, it turned out I didn't have the right for a piece luggage (again "small print"). I paid for the extra piece and I was double-charged (same amount withdrawn twice). Now I have opened a complained with Austrian and they haven't responded so far."

Nadelen: "I didn’t understand that we got no baggage allowance with our tickets. When I looked on the website it appeared that star alliance members got the usual free luggage. Apparently it was a “lit” fare & we didn’t. It would have been worth it to get the next class of fare"
Nadelen: "We were almost three hours late on arrival. Being at VIE airport after midnight with no buses going home is no fun."
Nadelen: "Firstly . The crew were rude ! They did not even response when were calling them from the seat . The only way to talk to them is to find them at the end of the plane ( where they been chating with each other ) Secondly . The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

Voordelen: "I would suggest to make up some how for my lost as I had other problems derived from missing my United Airlines but so far every body has been very understanding. For example selling me a new ticket at a special price or with some benefit - I WILL NEED TO FLY TO VIENNA AND KIEV AGAIN WITHIN 6 MONTHS - otherwise; I doubt I would ever buy a Austrian plane ticket again. I AM FLYING ON POLISH AIRLINES RIGHT NOW OCT 25TH."
Nadelen: "When I try to make the change of itinerary on Austrian Airlines on the selling web page, they told me to contact the Austrian Airlines, so I did. The Austrian Airlines lady who told me that I would just lose my tickets and that I could not even pay a penalty to avoid such thing, was very VERY RUDE!! As the Austrian Airlines did not offer me an option but losing my plane ticket,"

Voordelen: "Food, wine, crew, physical comfort were outstanding. Excellent overall! Austrian continues to abide by the highest standards. After 14 years it still is one of our two favorite airlines in the world."
Nadelen: "Boarding was chaotic, cramped. Passengers kept lining up only to be sent back to the end of the line after documents were checked three separate times. Only first class passengers were allowed at the gate. Chaotic and frustrating. Not what one would expect of Austrian efficiency!"
Voordelen: "My bag didn't make my connecting flight so I guess they upgraded me because of that. Exceptional service, food and comfort. Ground staff at Vienna and crew were wonderful."
