Nadelen: ""Customs" at JFK came to an entire halt. All passengers where stuck in the welcome hall for 1h, without any information, why held there and why nothing was moving forward. All CBP booths were closed, but 8 (eight!) employees, who normally direct arriving passengers to the kiosk-machines where hanging out in two groups sharing private stories and having laughs instead of at least informing passengers, what was going on. Lots of passengers where outraged...a couple in their mid 70s in front of us had to sit down on the floor, since they had circulation problems from standing in line so long. Sadly, JFK isn't what it used to be anymore."

Nadelen: "Mediocre food, lousy entertainment system that belongs to the last decade. Singapore Airlines has not been the premium carrier it was a decade ago and is now simply a so-so airline charging exorbitant fares."

Voordelen: "To be honest I had a pretty bad flight because my allergies exploded during the entire flight - constant sneezing, runny nose, you name it. However, the attentiveness of the crew really made up for it. The cabin was decorated with tiny wreathes (so cute!), and the pillow/blanket was very comfortable/warm for an Economy seat. Although I did not use it as much, the entertainment seemed top-notch. And the crew-- they noticed that I was not feeling well, and offered me peppermint tea and snacks that did sooth things a bit (you can request for snack/beverage refills anytime!). I loved that they gave out black socks to the passengers too (I prefer taking my shoes off during the flight, so the socks added warmth & prevented my own socks from getting dirty). All in all, it was one of the best-serviced long flights I had, not to mention probably the most affordable price I paid for my annual trip to Korea (from LA)."

My wife and I both took note that the flight attendants were "First Class" with emphasis on class. Exceptionally well groomed, but also conveyed genuine concern and helpfulness and at the same time, real workers, energetic and perky. We are bragging to all our friends about the uplifting cultural demeanor of Singapore Airlines. They should all get a pay raise. I will always remember their wonderful service when thinking about our trip to Frankfurt, Germany. Robert"

Nadelen: "Crew was very poor in responding to any requests. I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Most unreasonable, cheating me of my payment. I have since sought legal advice and contacted travel agent regarding, seems case law from several instances in my support. I had to pay thousands for new flight Austrian Air. Swiss thieved my money and I dont mind saying so. Unfair and unfair conduct. I am saving this letter for twitter to tell my friends of my disgust. I will be happy if this is sorted refunded immediately. A copy of these details and medical letter already provided to Jithendra from flight network (online travel agent)."

Voordelen: "On March 4, my wife and I made a flight from New York to Sydney with a transfer in Doha, Qatar. We flew the Qatar airline business class. Everything was great despite a very large flight. New plane, very clean. Wide comfortable seats turning into a large comfortable bed. Great menu and good wine list. All staff are professionally trained and very friendly. All this made this flight very comfortable and we were not tired."

Nadelen: "The seating room is poor for someone who is 6'2" tall. My wife had issues with her ankles swelling. When we tried to get a cold compress to put on them we never received it. We also asked for some fruit instead of the pizza snack and didn't receive it either. I know you don't have much control over passengers, but we had a two year old child in our seating area and it screamed and cried virtually the entire 14 hour flight. Very annoying."

Voordelen: "The departure and return flight time, for the price I paid, I felt like I was in more than an economy flight. The meal, the baggage quota, the entertainment. The time flew because by the time the movie had finished, we were starting to descend. I will always look for this flight with Emirates. There is no other flight in comparison, in what you get for your Buck. I believe that other Airlines, ie., Qantas, Virgin Aust, both give you a flight and service, for nearly the same fare but you only get 7kg luggage, no meal just the basic entitlement, tea/coffe/water with a biscuit or something like that and NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMPARISON!!!!"

Voordelen: "I loved the entire experience. This flight was my second trip with Cathay Pacific and I couldn’t be more satisfied. Seats were clean and comfortable. They had decent leg room and great range of motion. The entertainment center was simple but sleek. I loved the extensive movie library. Service was great."

Nadelen: "Contact the customer for flight changes instead of doing it automatically for the customer. I woke up to text messages letting me know my flight was changed from 0635 to 2135. I had major plans for the next few days and couldn’t afford to take that risk."

Voordelen: "Will if you didnt know yet it was horrible. because of the reschedulling i miss my flight from paris to venice and all this flight is boon through you but i couldnt contact cheapflights because you dont handle it. So what do you think??"
Nadelen: "Well at least you could at least know what happened but instead i still got message from you that my flight was still on for 1235 really are you guys that really dumb??"

Voordelen: "Nothing"
Nadelen: "Seating at the gate is strange. They just have people line up in any order and board them in that order. People run to form the line. Totally ridiculous. Food was awful. I have no idea what to even call the items they served. Audio jack was literally being held together with tape! Loose connection."

Voordelen: "Business class passengers use Qantas lounge in Brisbane - fresh and well stocked. Boarding was hassle free and flat beds were very comfortable. Crew were helpful while being very busy."
Nadelen: "We had seats in the centre but ate at totally different times. Left aisle and right aisle worked a different schedule - annoying. Entertainment very high tech but odd selections."

Voordelen: "Every aspect was smooth and efficient."

Voordelen: "Boeing 777 had an upgrade on the video display software, making for a more manageable video experience. It's easier to navigate because of the ability to close screens and go back to the screen you were on, rather than having to start over each time."
Nadelen: "I received a polite e-mail and a text message an hour or two later indicating that my flight from Taipei to HongKong had been delayed. It took a login to the Cathay Pacific web site to figure out that with the rescheduled time, I would miss my connecting flight from HongKong to Boston if I didn't change anything. I managed to sort it out, though it took using my cell phone to place an international call to the HongKong Cathay Pacific office to get me on an earlier flight. I don't think this is an acceptable level of service -- had I not had WiFi access or an international capable cell phone, I would have been stranded in Taipei or HongKong an extra day. I think CP could have done more to notify and help remediate the situation knowing the implication of the rescheduled flight. Food also remains mediocre, though slightly better."

Voordelen: "Agent actually walked me to my connecting flight due to short turn around time which saved me from having to search the way by myself."

Voordelen: "Boarding was smooth, attendants were great, entertainment had lots of options"
Nadelen: "They only had this tasteless shrimp slop leftover by the time they got to me for dinner. I didn't eat it and asked for a snack after and was refused. Other than being hungry it was great. The next meal was fine also."

Nadelen: "Plane seemed tired. The usb charger didn't work and the reading lights were impossible to use without putting glare into other passengers eyes. The seats were uncomfortable and their design made it difficult to stretch your legs out beneath the row in front. It was a 777 and I never find Boeings as comfortable as Airbus. Selection of in flight entertainment was limited and sound quality was poor."

Voordelen: "The new airplanes have usb plugs and had more pockets on the seat in front of you to place small personal items such as glasses, etc. Appreciated the crew’s offer for assistance when my lap toddler had a tantrum mid flight."
Nadelen: "Inconsistent with what was offered for the children. One flight provided food , juice and toiletries for my infant. The long haul flight didn’t give anything at all. I just had my lap toddler and my toddler share food since my toddler couldn’t finish all the food provided."

Voordelen: "Boarding crew were very helpful with the wheel chair requirement for my friend who was traveling with me."
Nadelen: "Crew was passive aggressive. The last thing I want is taking their aggression on me. For simple things such as asking for water and what not. She was like that with other passengers too. The baggage went missing. And I also puked right at the baggage claim for the food I ate in the flight. Over all I had bad experience. Food was bad too."

Voordelen: "Arrived 40 minutes ahead of scheduled arrival time. Food and drinks on board were above expectation compared to other airlines like KLM, China Southern. Cathay delivered a smooth and great service throughout this trip as per usual."

Nadelen: "In Canton (Guangzhou) aangekomen was er een zeer lamé wachttijd bij de douane van ongeveer anderhalve uur voordat ik aan de beurt was. Dit heeft verder niets met Cathay te maken maar wel met de vluchthaven."

Voordelen: "Vriendelijkheid en flexibiliteit personeel, goeie app van Cathay en keurige aansluiting op vervolgvluxht."

Voordelen: "Crew is polite and always willing to serve. Cathay always boards quickly and is always on schedule."
Nadelen: "I just don't care much for airline food .....I'm 6-4 so I'm never comfortable on long flights. There needs to be more popular movie selections."
