Nadelen: "Hello- The system for online checking was down (I think) it took a lot of time to check in. By the time we got to passport control, there was a huge line and an hour and half was left before take off. Anyways we joined the line. Half way through, 45 min before flight (flight was eventually delayed for an hour I think but we did not know that at the time) we realized that we were definetly going to get late and were looking for any Emirates person (whilst in line) who could guide us. Eventually someone did came and told a group (some way ahead of us) that people flying to Lahore and Karachi can go to another office for passport control (we ran to that office). I believe instead of sending 1 person to a line of say 300+ people to fetch for people for Lahore and Karachi can devise a contingent plan for these kind of situations. Maybe use a hand held digital board asking passengers with Flight no:XXX to head to a place so and so. Maybe megaphone can be used. Instead of passenger anxiously trying to get to 1 person whilst keeping in line to get some important information. In flight I used the button twice to call a crew member for some juice and water. But nobody came. But that might be understandable as there was a lot going on some 1 hour after dinner I think and is not a big problem. Don't know what kind of coordination they have with Dubai airport staff, seemed least bothered."

Nadelen: "The seating room in the 747 with 10 seats per row is limiting and uncomfortable. The passenger beside me was pushing well into my space, and the rambunctious flight attendants kept marching right into me and banging my seat with the cart, once also spilling water all over me. (Though she was very nice about it, and I wasn’t upset with her personally.)"

Nadelen: "2 hour delay at DFW because other flights de icing Diverted in mid Atlantic to Dublin because of problems with toilets. Waited 2-3 hours there. Missed connecting flight from Dubai to BLR. Only good thing was that Emirates gave me a boarding pass to a later flight and a meal voucher that was accepted with bad grace by the barista at terminal B Costas. Two of the meal voucher choices Cozi & Burger King had gone out of business!"

Nadelen: "I hate how more often than not ADD flight do not get bridges so you have to deal with Dubai's stifling heat."

Nadelen: "The online site didn't let us allocate seats even before 48 hours of schedule flight timings. Complimentary seats were allocated badly. Even when contacted with airline staff they didn't pass on the right information. We found on airport counter that exists seats opened before opening the airline counter at the airports whereas we are told that it would be allocated at the airport counter only. Misleaded at Dubai by airline staff that airport counter would open 3 hours before flight departure whereas we found and told at counter it was opened 48 hours before flight departure. Faced lots of inconvenience in allocation of complimentary seats. I speak with other co-passengers in the flight and found single complimentary aisle seats were allocared to passengers. They same opportunity was not extend to others having more than 1 seats in the flight."

Nadelen: "Couldn't get the internet to work...not sure if it was my phone or their service. Seats don't lean back much and there isn't as much legroom as some other airlines I've used. Hard to sleep."

Nadelen: "AS we boarded the staff weighed our carry on luggage. This created hardship and stress. If they felt my carry-on bag was too heavy I would be in big trouble, because I didn't have any money to pay additional fees."

Nadelen: "My flight had a luggage limit of 30kg, which sounds good, until you find you pay per kilo, not per piece when you're over."

Nadelen: "Screaming kids the entire 14 hours. The staff should have at least spoke to the family and kindly asked for them to take care of calming the child down. Instead, he screamed the entire flight and did as he pleased, with no regard to any of the customers on the flight."

Nadelen: "I specified ovo Lacto vegetarian because I eat cheese and diary. I got a stale and very small bread role with strawberry jam, wilted fruit and margarine for the breakfast meal. The non vegetarians got a full plate of croissant, cheese, fruit and jams. When I asked for butter I got no response. I asked three times before I could get some butter as I do not eat margarine. Lunch was wilted and slimy lettuce and tired fruit for dessert. The main meal itself was delicious but I was hungry the whole flight due to the small helping.. Another small but slightly fresher role and margarine again. Next to the non vegetarian meal there was less than half the food. It was very disappointing."

Nadelen: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."

Nadelen: "Very poor boarding conditions. The board only said "proceed to gate". Once at the gate, there was not one single boarding announcement. People next to the representatives started to get up and everyone else followed."

Nadelen: "I have been flying Turkish Air quite a bit since 2011. I have noticed that on some shorter flights they are using newer planes with a bit more leg room, but on their longer flights (Like the one I take quite a bit from Los Angeles-Istanbul) they are using older planes that are horrific for anyone over 6' tall. I can't even sit in the seat without my legs jamming against the seat in front of me, and when the recline, I have to sit sideways. They are also very small sideways. I am a big guy, but not overweight, and barely fit in the seats. Their seats are definitely getting worse since I started and they ended their economy plus seat option, which at least gave you an option, for a couple hundred dollars more, you could have a nice seat. This is of course to make more money and jam more people on their planes without caring at all for the passengers comfort when you are flying, and it makes those long 12-14 hour flights miserable! Also, the planes are very hot when you board, which can be very uncomfortable, and they no longer give you a hot towel (As they used to) until the plane has taken off. They also do not serve a 1st beverage right away after take off (10,000'). Your first beverage is with the first meal, and then you are not served anything again until the second meal, whereas most other airlines serve drinks throughout the flight. SO you fly for 12 hours with 2 service times and no offers of drinks, snacks, etc. during the flight."

Nadelen: "The seats we were in were where it went from 4 in a row to 3, so the telvisions were not directly in front of us, and i had to keep my head turned at an angle for ten hours. It sounds silly, but my neck hurt after the flight a little. Might be a pop out tv you can attach that is moveable to fix this"

Nadelen: "They checked my bag at the gate - despite me traveling all over the world NEVER having to check it - and would not take no for an answer, despite me having a 25 minute connection due to their one hour delay. Once boarded there was an incredible amount of empty overhead bins! Bag didn't make it"

Nadelen: "Lufhtansa is slipping. They are acting like a budget airline when the expectation is for a full service airline. The online check-in would not let us add bags even though we tried for 3 hours. Not impressed with this."

Voordelen: "Munich airport on other hand. We got to the airport several hours in advanced. Everything from getting a boarding pass to checking and weighing in your own bag was electronically. Long lines and majority of the systems were not working. After trying several machines and being directed into 3 different lines I finally was able to check my bag in. I had to leave my other family members who were flying with me as they were in another line. At the machine to check my bag in , a airport worker ran up to my bag and slammed it onto the ground as well as ripped off my luggage tags. My bag was upright on the conveyer belt instead of on its side , but how rude the airport workers are, is rediculous. After I asked why she did that she just began ordering me around to move my bag after I got my bag through the machine I asked to speak to a manager as the airport worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. No one would give me the time of day and the same airport working out her hand in my face saying repeatedly goodbye in German. I've never experienced anything like this in my entire life. Trying to get through security a few travelers on a thin patience level started pushing people in line trying to by pass others it was so very chaotic workers had to go in between. Those travelers were complaining, because disabled travelers had a separate line that was faster. The worst airport experience I've ever had. Once on the plane everyone was pleasant. Crew was very helpful and always willing to assists"
Nadelen: "There was a child on the plane that was screaming and crying on and off for several hours. The parents didn't do anything to keep the child calm. Before we got to Chicago eveyone had to be seatbelt s before landing and the flight attendant asked eveyone to buckle up. The mother of the baby wouldn't listen and began yelling at flight crew. I think the flight crew did a great job, the passenger and child were very disruptive making the flight at times very uncomfortable. I wouldn't suggest infants or toddlers flying for such long trips. No one wants to listen to a child screaming at the top of their lungs."

Voordelen: "The crew was nice Checking was quick and painless Entertainment had a limited options but good"
Nadelen: "Very limited food options. I get it is not first class but not everyone likes only chicken or fish"

Nadelen: "This flight was the second leg on my trip from New York to Munich. Many people on the flight from NY to Brussels were scheduled on this flight and that plane landed in time that this flight would only need to be delayed 10 minutes to allow for us to connect. However, they decided to leave all of us with a long unexpected layover in Brussels, costing many of us a day of what was supposed to be a short vacation for most."

Voordelen: "The crew was friendly and the boarding process was fast and simple. No food just snacks and what they had was good. Once I got to the airport there was a wheelchair at the gate and it was great because we were on the opposite side if the airport for our next flight and he was very nice to talk to as we were walking."
Nadelen: "It was a pretty short flight so no complaints."

Nadelen: "the head of the crew( the purser) was extremely rude, inppropriate and unprofessional. I had an upgrade to economy premium because of the disaster with the DC to Franlfurt flight but I still experienced pain because I could not lay flat. I feel that Lufthana should give me a free upgrade to business on my flight back to Miami in October. it's the only way they can repair the stress, and emotional and physical torture they put me through in DC"

Nadelen: "We booked these flights expecting Lufthansa. Little disappointed to learn they were Brussels airlines. Inflight entertainment options and meal options don't seem to be as good. Flight crew was pleasant and fine. After learning it was Brussels airlines I went through their check-in process for families and requested kid-friendly meals, but nothing came of it. Slightly disappointed."

Nadelen: "My seat was 32C , me being disabled (wheelchair). My wife seat was 32 A and was DEFECTIVE. It could not be lowered towards the back, actually it has only the fixed position (all the way up). The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class."

Nadelen: "Boarding on time, departing on time and advising passengers of the delay. We sat on the tarmac for 50 minutes without any communication. In addition, we waited an addition 45 minutes for our luggage. Thus, requiring us to change our plans. Well not be traveling Egypt Air again."

Voordelen: "Crew was good."
Nadelen: "Business class is very basic. Flatbed seats, but they are side by side, like economy. So if you have a window or center seat, you have to climb over someone to get out to use the bathroom. Very annoying, especially for the person being climbed over."

Voordelen: "The airplane was specious and comfortable and the crew are extremely nice people"
Nadelen: "We took off later than the expected time wäbut we and that‘s not I‘m used to from egyptair but eventually we reached our destination in the mean expected time, also the landing was a bit harsh and we felt it all"

Nadelen: "several toilets were out of order (were marked occupied instead of out of order so I was waiting in vain until a passenger informed me it was not working not occupied). food, looked like they were trying to conserve on passengers desserts.. microscopic (toy size) containers for coffee n tea??!"

Nadelen: "La chasse d’eau des toilettes ne fonctionnait pas. L’équipage était au courant. Je l’ai signalé alors que j’étais la premiere à les utiliser. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas non plus. Aux 2/3 du vol, nous avons eu l’Impression d’être dans un sauna. Atroce ! Alors que d’habitude j’ai toujours froid !"

Nadelen: "I complain to the manager and he doesn’t do anything about how the customer service treat us And if you know the manager you don’t charge for extra luggage - and if you don’t know him you charge for anything extra"

Nadelen: "I overpaid my flight by up to 50 per cent more than my fellow passengers yet they were allowed 2 bags each while I only got 1 . The flight attendants don't offer drinks except with meals . They took for ever to remove the trays after the meals that passengers were trying to take them out by themselves . They don't pass by with big bags to collect any garbage ."

Nadelen: "Boarding on desk was so bad , they forced ne to put my handbag on bagage and prevent my to take on board ,, also to pay lot of money"

Nadelen: "Ground staff arbitrarily decided whose carryon luggage they should take because the flight was full and loading over head compartments do take up time and might cause delay. I would like to suggest that an announcement be made and ask passengers to volunteer their carryon to be loaded with other luggage..."

Nadelen: "None of the air stewardess has a smile on their face when talking to or serving passengers. I’m not sure they know how to engage with passengers in a friendly way. My entertainment screen wasn’t working. After resetting, it took them an hour to inform me that I could move to another seat if I wanted to, as they couldn’t resolve the problem with the screen. The food lacked in flavour and the sausage served for breakfast was undercooked."

Nadelen: "flight was cancelled and i only got to know it after traveling first leg of the tip - then got rerouted for next 36 hrs. Now acceptable for both KAYAK and ET Airline"

My luggage never came. I got it on my way back to Bamako. Nobody was even able to even trace my luggage or respond professionally on the phone. Out of hundreds of calls I made to them, they only picked up twice. ET screwed my honeymoon that I had planned for over a year. I'm so dissapointed that I don'y even want to claim reimbursement."
Nadelen: "Office in Bamako and apperently even in Nairobi never picks up the phone ! The only time they picked up (in Nairobi) they were rude!"

Voordelen: "Ground crew communicated well. It was easy to check in; boarding was done on time and smoothly."
